The location was perfect, and made up for a lot of the other discomforts. Easy access to metros and lots of key sights. Waking up to the church was gorgeous. Everything was clean. The crepe stand right across the path was easy and the apartment is also really close to an All Antico Vinaio, we would take sandwiches and crepes to the park on nights we didn't want to dine out. It was fairly quiet.
There was no open/unlocked closet, drawer, or shelf space, so unpacking was a mess. There were no window coverings. The 'couch' was a folded piece of dirty foam, not really a spare bed. There was a washer but no place to hang wet things (no hangars, no closet space, no bars or hooks). The shower was awkward, which isn't a deal breaker. Lots of DVDs - no place to play them.

Great location. Beautiful view of the church from the window. We found it convenient to have a fridge and washing machine.
Building is old, in a way that could be quaint but misses the mark. Water is either hot enough to cause 2nd degree burns or ice cold, very hard to maintain proper temperature for shower. Apt has a washing machine but no way to dry clothes (not expecting a dryer but at least a clothes line).

The location
No table or comfortable chairs, wifi information was not given willingly I had to ask for it. No TV to watch when getting ready or coming back from a day of sightseeing. When I asked for a rack to use to dry clothes I was told it was in the closet. The closet was locked as well as other cabinets with owners property. I was also told to not use some of the food items in the refrigerator because they were the owners. This place is good for one person or a couple only.
