Duplex St-Michel - Quartier latin

Oh my God it was stunningly beautiful and located in the middle of everything. It's such an authentic Parisian experience. I absolutely loved it there.

It's not a dislike,  but anybody renting the property needs to understand they are staying in someone's home. All of the owners belongings are there and so it feels more like you are staying at your great aunt's house while they are at the cottage than a traditional Airbnb. But that's sort of the cost of having the privilege of staying in such a beautiful place.

Old world charm, high ceilings, great light, good central location.

Would be nice if owners personal toiletries were stored away. Even fridge had old jam and lines in it. Needed to be cleaned better.

Not much space for you things to go in the wardrobe or drawers

The apartment is right in the heart of the Latin quarter conveniently located next to a supermarche and restaurants. The apartment itself is very old, but quite beautiful.

Communication with the host was not great. After we let the host know when we would arrive, she asked me to send her a message when we were on the Metro. I did so, but received no communication back. A person arrived with the keys two hours after us. We would not have minded so much except we were in total limbo while we waited. We started to worry that no one was going to show up as I made several attempts to reach the host while we waited and could not reach anyone. The apartment was also not ready. There were no clean towels and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. For check-out, no instructions were provided. I sent a message to the host letting her know when we left the apartment. Never received a responsez
