Appartement très joli, avec une superbe vue et une jolie piscine. Tout est neuf, confortable, avec le matériel adapté, notamment pour cuisiner. Jolies plages aménagées et commerces à quelques minutes en voiture.

La configuration du lieu n’est pas optimale si vous voulez de l’intimité (pas de chambre séparée, mezzanine ouverte).

Our second visit - faultless as expected. Beautiful location and very private with only 4 villas total in the build, and car parking, that are hidden by a shared electric gate (controlled with your key). The host greeted us on arrival as we coordinated over Whatsapp, which works perfectly for us. She is wonderful, friendly and ready to provide information on the area should you need it. In walking distance there are 4-5 excellent authentic and affordable restaurants, and a secluded beach bar which has recently had investment. Our favourite restaurant was "ΖΕΦΥΡΟΣ ΠΟΥΛΕΑ" - completely family run and authentic, high quality cuisine - we visited 4 times. Driving slightly further out, there are even more beach restaurants with ample parking. The villa is peaceful at all hours of the day, but this relies on your neighbours which can sometimes be louder families (we didn't mind). Regardless, always plenty of quiet time, and much to see and do in the local vicinity such as the Kalamata town, marina, or the Messene ancient ruins. The villa is kitted out with everything you need to start - bin bags, hand & dish soap, toilet paper, etc. Most are sufficient for a full week, but some will need replenishing. Bins are at the bottom of the road - easy to drop off en route to the beach/restaurant every 3-4 days. You will need to visit the local shops for stays longer than 3 days for essentials. There is a mini-market 15 minutes walk that has everything you need, or a Lidl 15 minutes drive away for more selection. We recommend having a car as the main road is quite hazardous to walk on. Overall, this is the first time we have ever revisited a holiday destination twice. We loved it even more this time, so I am confident we will be back next year!
