The location was excellent—just a 10-minute walk to Lake Como and right in the city center. It’s surrounded by shops and restaurants and conveniently close to public transport, with Como Borghi station about an 11-minute walk away. The apartment was clean and cozy. The host was also very accommodating, allowing a late checkout at 11:00 a.m. instead of 10:00 a.m. to make up for the delayed check-in.
The check-in experience was not pleasant. We were unable to find the key in the key box as indicated in the host’s instructions. Although we were approved for an early check-in at 14:30, we had to wait until 16:00 for the cleaner to arrive and begin cleaning the apartment.
