The apartment is lovely, with great views too.

Hit my head on the low beam in the bathroom several times! Stairwell has an odd smell and lots of flies in hot weather.

We loved the location of the property which is very convenient being in the middle of Cheap Street which is the High Street of Sherborne

We were staying in the top floor attic apartment. There were a few things which we think could be arranged a little better. So for example the master bed on arrival was located to one side of the room which means for a couple, that one person has to climb in and out of bed either over the other person or from the foot of the bed which is not all that easy. We moved the bed out from the wall and there was space enough either side for both people to conveniently get in and out of bed. Secondly, there are no towel rails in the bathroom which is very peculiar if you want to hang towels to dry or place when showering. Thirdly, there is no hat and coat hook rail anywhere, which for a country where you are likely to come in wet seems to be an important oversight. There is a store room immediately inside the front door which could act as a very convenient boot room particularly if an electric radiator was placed inside the room to dry coats hats, umbrellas and boots. A couple of minor issues - it is probably good idea to have a shower curtain to stop water spraying over the floor of the bathroom. Secondly, I am not sure that the information on the apartment mentions that it is the top floor for which there is only stair access. Some people would find that climb to the top quite challenging particularly if they have a heavy suitcase. I do appreciate that the apartment may be priced more economically because of its location at the top of the building but I do think it's worth saying to potential customers to avoid a potential problem.
