Property clean well presented.

Large bedroom and living room. The contact for the property had excellent advice regarding where to eat during the day or at night and local amenities. Also allowed us checkout later as we had a late evening flight; which was excellent. Very nice to deal with.

It is up a bit of a hill but that’s the location really and will be the same for most properties.

Appartement spacieux et confortable. Très lumineux et fonctionnel. Belle vue de la terrasse. Proche de la plage et de la marina (nombreux bars et restaurants). Parking apprécié. Sécurisé. Bien équipé.

Petit problème de serrure à la porte. Sinon rien à signaler.

The property is located within a secure and well maintained building, with lovely gardens. The apartment is very spacious; comfortable; very well equipped and clean with new beds.

The language barrier was an issue. Messages (in Spanish) were friendly, but face to face meetings with the host (spoke in Russian) weren’t great, she came across as being dismissive (when asked if the marks on the floor were dirt, or just marks made by the mop, she huffed a bit then looked at me and made a one-worded comment “moll”., then just ignored me whenever I spoke). Address shown isn’t accurate, I used Google to find the actual access. The meet & greet arrangements could have been clearer, I was advised to meet at the bus stop near the mosque outside the property, but I had to eventually phone to ask where the host was. She said she was already in the apartment but since I didn’t even have the door number, couldn’t press the buzzer to get through the main gates let alone into the apartment block. Failed to advise that the hot water was switched off at the mains socket, located outside on the separate balcony area. Some of the metal balcony railings on the main terrace are crumbling (one of the railings has completely broken off at the bottom and the lower fitting to the wall is very loose, therefore I wouldn’t trust the safely of it). The ensuite bathroom is in need of repair, the photos displayed on booking.com are old, as they don’t show that the vanity unit is broken at the bottom and the paint is completely flaking off; there are cracked wall tiles with grout missing in areas, especially underneath at the bath panel. The metal wall fixtures (towel rail & mirror) are rusted. The kitchen tap is not secured to the sink, therefore the position of the tap is offset and the tap drips. Would also have expected there to be a smoke alarm. *RESPONSE TO PROPERTY: There were no shoe marks on the wall, apt was left clean & tidy incl bathroom/ensuite/kitchen etc. Comms were in Spanish/Russian (I have the messages). Check-in time wasn’t an issue, arrived in the p.m & had drinks in the nearby Jollie Collie!
