About this house rental
Holiday home in idyllic surroundings with a lovely view over the river Tana towards Finland. The house is located only 30 km from Tana Bridge. Sloping natural plot with hiking terrain right outside the door. Rich fishing opportunities in several fresh waters. Family-friendly with many nature experiences for young and old, and perfect for anyone who likes the outdoors. The house was built in 1992 and is well maintained and pleasantly furnished. There are 124 sqm over two floors. Open solution between kitchen/dining room and living room on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is one bathroom with WC and shower and two bedrooms with a double bed each. Electric heating as well as a wood stove in the living room. The house is located 150 m from the Tana River. Parking space right outside the house all year. The holiday home is located in beautiful and idyllic nature with wooded moors and rich plant and animal life, as well as easily accessible mountains with many fishing lakes. Great hiking opportunities of different lengths and hiking trails a short distance from the house. The nearest fishing lake is 800 m from the house. Fishing in the Tana River is prohibited in 2024. In summer, the midnight sun can be experienced from the house. During winter, you might see the northern lights extra strong due to little light pollution in the area. In winter, there are a number of snowmobile trails in the area, ski trails can be found at the camping about 1 km from the house. On request, the landlord offers guided tours in summer and winter. Possibility to rent a river boat with or without a driver in the summer, or a scooter in the winter.

We had an amazing time at this holiday home! The surroundings are just stunning, especially the view over the river Tana, It felt like a slice of paradise, There’s plenty of space for everyone, and the kitchen was well-equipped which made it easy to cook some meals, The only downside was the WiFi was a bit slow, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect a little, We enjoyed hiking right outside the door and even tried fishing, which was a blast! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves nature, Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The holiday home in Tana was everything we hoped for, The proximity to fishing lakes and hiking trails was fantastic, The house itself was clean and comfortable, and we found it very easy to settle in, Overall, a great experience!

This holiday home was a great base for our fishing trip, Although fishing in the Tana River is prohibited this year, we found plenty of nearby lakes to explore, The house itself was clean and nicely furnished,
