Location was perfect. The appt was spacious and comfortable
The hosts were not accommodating. The refrigirator was turned off (by a hidden switch on the wall), and they failed to let us know about it until we found out by ourselves.
On check out, they didn't go the extra mile to make our check out comfortable, and behaved as if they simply don't care anymore.
The bedsheets and couch were dusty.
The beds uncomfortable.

Location is very good. Grocery markets close by, as well as the central street of Sorrento. A very good pastry/cafe very close by which was wonderful. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. We did have some lights issues, but the hosts were very receptive and responded quickly to correct. Marco was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat & exchange currency. The pictures on the website are accurate, but the interior furniture is quite dated. We were on the 4th floor and using the tiny old apartment building elevator was an experience. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of closet space.
We initially were given 1 set of keys for the apartment. Did not like the use of skeleton keys to open & lock the door to the apartment. It also serves as the key to activate the lights and air/heating once inside. 1 set of keys therefore opened the door in & out of the apartment building, also opened and locked the apartment door, and was necessary to activate the lights & A/C within the apartment. A real hassle if you went out separately! We asked for another set (which isn't the normal practice) and did receive them. The single deadbolt on the apartment door did not function.
On our last day, the lock to the apartment door broke with the key inside & couldn't be removed. We could not get out and missed our scheduled transportation to the airport. It took a long time to get a locksmith out after the Domus agent & host tried to fix the problem. We were made to feel like we were responsible when the door lock mechanism was the problem.
Once out of the apartment, I was thankful the host arranged a taxi for me to get to the airport but because of losing my original booking, I ended up paying $500+ for transportation between Sorrento & Napoli: the trip I lost, plus the cost to rebook due to the lock situation.
The only other negative comment would be the kitchen amenities. It could be better equipped. There is NO coffee maker other than a tiny Italian espresso/coffee maker. It is much too small for the burners on the stove so unusable. Paper products would be helpful too.
Bathrooms are clean & spacious but could use fixtures to hang your clothes and/or towels. Each bathroom should have its own hairdryer. They have a decent cleaning service, but we found an old bottle & sleeping eye mask within the sofa that were missed.
