The location is good, less than 10mins walk to the Iriya station. And plenty of buses to get you around, depending where you’re going. Generally clean and quiet.

The space!! It was very spacious for Japan standard and we got it at a great price.

Location I feel it is far from ueno station but there a nearer station which takes about 7mins.

The pillows were a little thin and the outlet on the headboard didn’t work, but these didn’t affect our overall experience

The apartment is fairly new, clean, with good heating and drying facilities. The building is clearly labelled with its name, unlike some other apartments we stayed at, and entry into the building and apartment was straightforward (far easier than other apartments). This made it an stress-free option for arrival in the dark. We caught a taxi from Tokyo Station, which took about 20 minutes - and was very reasonably priced. There is an elevator. The area is quite upmarket and very pleasant, with many restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket. Iriya metro station is only two minutes walk from the apartment.

I was disappointed in the sofa bed option in the living/dining/kitchen area as the sofa wasn’t actually a sofa but a folding foam arrangement at floor level. This meant I was sleeping on the floor, which wasn’t very comfortable. We were two sisters wanting our own sleeping spaces. When I messaged the property asking for a sheet for the sofa bed I couldn’t understand the reply (that only one futon bed was provided). I ended up sleeping inside the sheeting duvet cover. We found the lack of English instructions for the apartment and its new appliances annoying. We had to use Google Translate to read the Japanese instructions for everything, and they were far from clear. We couldn’t get the hot plates to work at all, though I managed to cook an omelette in the rice cooker! A proper sofa bed, English instructions, and a more personalised approach to guests would make all the difference to this property.
