For people on a budget, this is a great place. It has a self serve breakfast of eggs bread fruit and jams available, and the rooms aren't fancy but they are clean. Mali and San are lovely staff members, and they did everything possible to make my stay comfortable. Unfirtunately, there were some plumbing issues, so in my stay I had 4 different rooms...things happen sometimes, but we got through it. They were upset about the situation for me and gave me flowers, fruit and lovely sweet treats as a comfort...they didn't have to do that. It is about a 5 minute walk to the Old City, and the Saturday walking street, and there's nightly street food available there as well. And wifi works! Oh and a great coffee shop and diner about 20 metres up the road as well...Poon Coffee...totally recommend them for good food and good service.
I've read other reviews, and yes, there are cats roaming around...they are cute...yes there are dogs barking...so what? Yes, the rooster crows all the time...all adds to the character of the place as far as I'm concerned, so no faults from me!
