Symphony hostel has a great city centre location, with comfy beds. Zethi and the team here are super friendly and helpful - I planned to stay one night and ended up staying 4! They also organised my transport for trips to Shala River and Valborne for the hike. The place also has super cute balconies overlooking the street, and a cool vibe inside the communal area.

The owner was amazing as well as all the other staff, he allowed me to check in early as my husband got in at 4am, and waited up for me. The beds are comfortable, although in a peculiar setup, however they do the job. The free breakfast for the price is a nice touch. The location is in the centre of everything, literally a 5 minute walk to all the buses. Can’t beat this place for value
The only odd thing about the property is the shower situation, which is located downstairs, but it’s very manageable and wasn’t an issue.

This is NOT a hostel, but rather a man using his attic for commercial profit. The bathroom is located in the bar downstairs. The included breakfast is only a croissant with a coffee. The manager of the bar is frequently walking in and out of the bedroom, while the beds are placed in the middle of the room. I felt like I had no privacy to change my clothes or sleep without feeling watched.
Also, the door of the bar closes at midnight, meaning there is no possibility to enter your room if you come back late after a drink or something.
The music from the bar can be heard from 8:00 until 23:00, making it difficult to sleep before that.
The only positive thing is that the manager is friendly when you speak to him. When I asked him to turn off the music because I wanted to sleep before 22:30, he did it without any problem, and he also showed me how to turn off the lights.
Overall, this did not feel like a hostel experience, and I would not recommend it if you value privacy and rest.
