Enjoy the prime location just 100 meters from the Baltic Sea beach. A short walk through a picturesque pine grove leads you directly to the beach promenade, where a kilometer-long white sandy beach awaits you. Whether you prefer the clothed or nude sections, there’s something for everyone here. Experience breathtaking views across the rolling Bodden landscape, past meadows, wild roses, and rapeseed fields. Discover not only the diverse cycling and hiking trails along the coast through Göhren, Baabe, and Sellin, but also the water sports areas for all surfing and stand-up paddleboarding enthusiasts. The nearby Lotsenberg, with its observation tower, promises a fantastic view of the Mönchgut Peninsula. For your daily needs, you can visit a small supermarket in town during the season, where you’ll also find a bakery. The picturesque harbor invites you to go sailing and fishing in the Bodden, and twice a week during the season, the Rügen Market attracts guests with its regional products.
Haus Sanddorn, Apartment 06 with fireplace & south-facing balcony:
Non-smoking vacation apartment No. 06 is located on the upper floor of Haus Sanddorn. With approximately 70 square meters of space, it offers plenty of room for 2–4 people and is the ideal retreat for your vacation on the Mönchgut Peninsula. Step inside and let yourself be enchanted by the tastefully coordinated furnishings. The small entryway features a coat rack, a full-length mirror, and a wall cabinet. From here, you enter the open-concept living area with an adjoining dining area and an open kitchenette. The bright living area is furnished with solid wood furniture, a leather couch, two comfortable armchairs, a coffee table, two reading lamps, a smart TV, a DAB radio, a small selection of vacation reading material, and Wi-Fi. On cooler days, a wood-burning stove adds to the cozy atmosphere. From here, you can also step out onto the south-facing balcony, which is furnished with chairs and features an electric awning with a wind sensor to provide shade on sunny days. Adjacent to the living area is the fully equipped kitchenette. The high-quality amenities include a 4-zone ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker with a thermos, a Nespresso machine, a toaster, a kettle, and various kitchen utensils you’ll need for cooking. A dining area rounds out this space. The bedroom, located on the same level, is furnished with a box-spring bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m) with a full-length topper, nightstands, and a large closet. You can also access the south-facing balcony from here. The naturally lit bathroom offers comfort and convenience with its heated towel rack, a toilet, a walk-in shower, a sink area, a hair dryer, a makeup mirror, a washing machine, and a clothes dryer. You can reach the second bedroom via a staircase to the left or right from the living area. Here, you can sleep soundly with two single beds (each 0.90 m x 2.00 m), adjustable slatted bed frames, a dresser, a wardrobe, and a smart TV. Sleeping comfort in this room is further enhanced by an electrically operated skylight with an insect screen and a blackout roller shade.
