    The location was very convenient and the staff were exceptionally helpful, making the overall experience pleasant. Facilities like the pool and parking added to the comfort, while breakfast options were satisfying. The room cleanliness was good, though not perfect, and hot water availability was consistent. Overall, this place offers great value for money.

    I had a very disappointing experience at Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South⁠. After checking into my room, I discovered that the shower water heater was faulty and there was no proper hot water available. I spent quite some time trying to troubleshoot it before finally contacting the staff. To be fair, the hotel staff did come up to verify the issue, and they confirmed that the shower heater was indeed faulty.Unfortunately, by the time everything was checked and arranged, I had to go through the hassle of changing rooms late at night. The whole process was tiring and frustrating, especially after a long day. I ended up checking in properly much later than expected, hungry and exhausted. While the staff eventually assisted with the room change, this is something that should have been properly inspected before assigning the room to guests. For a Marriott property, I honestly expected much better maintenance standards and a smoother guest experience. Overall, the stay started off badly and left a poor impression. I hope the hotel improves its room inspection and maintenance process to prevent future guests from going through the same inconvenience. Note: There is a welcome dessert for my first stay @ Marriot Courtyard. This is a nice gesture but unfortunately, the staff should have ensure all the fixtures are working in the room. This is a lapse in their traning protocol.
