Basel family stay

The apartment was spacious, light, warm and welcoming. Smelled clean, beds very comfortable and easily accommodated our family of four (two middle teens who wanted space, plus parents). Location and ease of transport was perfect for us. The security was very good too - it is a secure building within a clean, quiet neighbourhood - yet so close to the town and walking distance to the Rhine River. Tomas was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. Thank you Tomas, we will be back.

Location was fantastic, with easy access to shops and transport. Private parking was super convenient, too. The apartment itself is cozy, clean and spacious, lots of effort and desire has been put into the place so that you actually feel like you’re home. And that’s how our family of 4 (2 small children) felt. Every small detail has been thought of, so that you can actually relax and enjoy your stay. Terrace setup was also pretty nice with sun exposure. And finally, the hosts are fantastic and extremely welcoming. We had a tricky situation where they went beyond and above to help us and we couldn’t be more grateful.

The stay was just OK. Don't know that I would go back again. Unfortunately our stay was hot.

Very clean. Size was what we expected.

The clothes dryer vent I believe was clogged. It got very hot and unable to control it. I took over a hour to dry things that would normally dry in 20 minutes. Do to no AC and it was in the mid 90's could have used better fans.

A great place that was spoilt by such a minor inconvenience!

The property was very clean and reasonably comfortable. Set in a nice area and close to the centre via a nice walk along the river.

The amount of seating in the lounge was limited for a group of 6. The fridge freezer stopped working and spoiled our food. The owner brought a replacement fridge that turned out to be a freezer. This again spoiled our food. Compensation for this has been declined even with contact through Booking.com! The owner says the fridge now operates correctly between 8-10 degrees celcius. I would await food poisoning as it should operate at 3-5 degrees celcius. We feel like we are being blamed for damaging a fridge by placing goods in it and trying to extort compensation from the owner.

Beautiful home in a convenient location.

Beautiful apartment, very convenient location and just minutes away from multiple restaurants and tourist attractions. The place is very clean and quiet. There is a store just 3 minute walk from the apartment to stock up on groceries and toiletries (there’s only hand soap at the property), and the kitchen has all utensils and cookware you might need. We checked in late (9 pm) due to our flight schedule, and the host was very welcoming. My family of 5 stayed for just a couple of nights and enjoyed our stay.

One of the double beds was really stiff and hard to sleep on. There was only enough bedding provided for 2 double beds and one single, so our family of 5 couldn’t use both twin beds for kids and 2 of our kids had to share a bed since there weren’t enough sheets. The host was very kind and offered to bring extra sheets on the second day but we only had one more night and didn’t want to change plans to accommodate a sheet restock.

Fabulous base in Basel for a family or group of friends !

Very spacious apartment in a lovely quiet neighbourhood , perfect for our family of 6 to stay a couple of nights after finishing a Rivercruise together ! A lot of sites , supermarkets and cafes within walking distance and the trams are very close and free if you get the tourist card !

Hairdryer didn’t fit into any of the plugs !

Nice Basel Apartment

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Basel! The location is excellent—central, quiet, and very well-connected by public transport. The apartment itself is modern, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The living area is cozy and bright, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The host was welcoming, responsive, and provided clear instructions for check-in. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Basel.

Excellent in every way and would happily return!

The property was spacious and very clean. Parking was also very convenient. The owner went above and beyond to drive us to a store to buy a cake for our son’s birthday as we arrived late. This experience made us feel very welcomed and created a very warm feeling.

Uns ist alles gefallen! Das war bester Apartment, den ich seit 30 Jahren gebucht habe! Alles war sehr komfortabel und sauber. Anfahrt in die Tiefgarage - sehr bequem und einfach! Alles gibt im Apartment, was du brauchst: im Zimmer, im Bad in der Küche! Lage ist perfekt! 20 Geheminuten bis zum Basel- Zentrum Betreuer waren sehr freundlich! Danke für alles!
