Basel apartment

The apartment was in central Basel which is close to everything. Tram No. 8 outside the front door takes 10 minutes to get to the train station. It was spacious and very clean. I am going to keep this apartment on my list should I visit Basel again.

Beware the stairs to the 4th floor may not be for everybody.

Everything is perfect, however only if you like living at the train station.

Clean, practical, classical comfortable German accommodation. Location is perfect, just across the bridge from the city centre.

Well, the sound proofing is really bad. The fact the apartment is right at the tram stop, gives you an immersive feeling of living in the middle of buzzing train station. Very loud, thus, very frustrating. Even earbuds wont save you. Unfortunately this is not easy fix and they need to completely change the windows to guarantee perfect sound proofing given the proximity of the tram. Otherwise just avoid.

Es war sehr schön und gemütlich.

Die Einrichtung war super. Sehr gute Matratzen.

Es gibt eine Spülmaschine aber leider fast kein Geschirr. Ein Topf und jeweils nur 2 Essteller, 2 Tassen, 2 Suppenteller und zwei Gläser. Besteck 2 Messer, 2 Löffel, 2 Gabeln und zwei kleine Löffel. Das heißt die Spülmaschine muss man ständig laufen lassen obwohl sie fast leer ist oder man spült von Hand.

La ubicación es excelente

Cuarto piso sin ascensor Apartamento con buhardilla y arriba solo había la cama, ninguna mesita ni silla para dejar las cosas. La lámpara está situada lejos de la cama y cerca de la cama no hay ningún enchufe. En toda la habitación no hay ningún interruptor para encender o apagar la luz. Esta sólo se enciende y se apaga al empezar a subir la escalera. En el baño estaría bien poner algún perchero para colgar la ropa o la toalla de la ducha En la cocina hay pocos utensilios. Estaría bien añadir un cuchillo para cortar pan, sólo hay un cuchillo pequeño y dos cuchillos de cubierto. No hay cafetera ni tostadora.

ohne Schnickschnack an zentraler Lage

Wir haben einen unkomplizierten und preisgünstigen Schlafplatz gesucht.

Das Zimmer ist eine kleine Wohnung, die das nötigste aufweist, aber kein Charme hat. Die Fenster könnten einen Vorhang vertragen und leider ist die Lautstärke der Menschen, die vor dem Haus auf das Tram warten, oder vorbei gehen bei offenem Fenster nicht zu ignoerieren. Das Bett war nicht besonders bequem.

Pas de machine à café ou bouilloire à disposition. Vaisselle minimaliste. Pas de climatisation / rafraichisseur ! Pénible durant les nuits chaudes (Bruit si fenêtre ouverte) Prix très (trop) cher !
