Kings Cross Two Bedroom Penthouse

Super location for our needs - right by Kings Cross station and close to Camden Town Hall. Fresh, clean and bright apartment. Thankfully, given the heatwave the apartment was well equipped with electric fans. Also, our host was quick to respond to any queries, which we appreciated.

We were surprised that a few standard kitchen items eg wine glasses and baking trays were not supplied and our fridge/freezer struggled in the heatwave. We raised these matters with our host, who confirmed a new fridge/freezer had been ordered and arranged a partial refund. He, like us, was also surprised that the other kitchen items were absent and would restock.

The apartment is located near the train stations. It's a convenient overnight stay. It has everything you need for a short stay.

The apartment is actually smaller than in the photos. The rooms are very small. At night, there was some kind of carnage going on outside, along with the sound of police sirens. It was hard to sleep. It was very hot and stuffy. But if you open the window, it's noisy :-) There are no adapters for European plugs.

Lots actually. The noise from the streets lasts throughout the night. The link to the instructions o. How to access the apartment couldn’t be opened and we had a hard time trying to get in. Messaged the staff and finally got in after more than half an hour in the rain. The doors to both bathrooms in the apartment were not aligned and thus not able to close. The shower head in the common bathroom was broken and not fixed after 3 nights even though the staff promised to fix it. The master bedroom wooden bed frame was bigger than the mattress and we knocked into the frame quite a few times. The living room TV couldn’t load any of the local channels. It was really tough lugging 3 huge luggage bags up and down the many flights of stairs.
