Charmstay King's Cross

Everything was clean and tidy, the location was great .

We found the access staircase narrow and steep for my needs ,and we found the beds uncomfortable also the bathroom could do with a little tlc ,but ok for a night or two .

It's wonderful stay at this incredibly tidy and clean King's Cross apartment. It’s a fantastic, cozy spot for a small family to recharge after a busy day out in London. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen has all the basic utensils you need, and the oscillator fans were a great touch. The location is great —everything (restaurants, King's Cross station, and a large superstore) is just a short walk away! The hosts were amazing, they timely contacted and remained in touch to make you feel welcome.

Because of the central location right by the road, some traffic noise was to be expected. However, it was completely manageable. The host made a great effort by providing earplugs, a kind gesture.—though honestly, the noise wasn't the big issue for us at all!

Whilst on a 'busy' road actually the road noise wasn't intrusive, I even forgot the street was there. The apartment we had was on the first floor of what was once one house - now split into four flats. The position is excellent - ten minutes from walking out of Kings Cross/St Pancras station and you are at the front door of the house and access was so easy as I was given detailed instructions long before I arrived - even a short video clip to show how easy access was. Excellent. The flat is 'small' but with a kitchen, fitted with most anyone would want in a short stay and one bedroom with the 'sitting room' doubling as an additional single bedroom ( and of course bathroom) the whole place was really all one needs. Maybe it is 'small-ish" but the great position, so close to the centre of London no-one should complain. You can walk to the West end easily in half an hour, forty minutes. A Tesco express is a moment away. The bedroom faces the back and is silent and not overlooked at all. All communication was quick and always asking if 'all was ok" which is always reassuring.. I would happily stay again. Happily.

Location good for our purpose

We were tricked by paying for 2 apartments,even though we only needed one by the time I realised it it was too late to cancel ,and I want booking dot com to verify that a 2 bedroom flat with 2 double bed can only accommodate 3 people, maybe because they realised that and said that inorder not refund us for an apartment we didn't use, booking .com should not allow listing because it is confusing £757 I believed was for one apartment for a couple and 3 children and expects us to use 2 apartments as one family Furthermore I tried to ask for a discount, because we feel tricked ,of course we stayed in only one apartment, we didn't believe that and we stayed in apartment 2 only and didnt stay in apartment 3 And thing is that is entrance is so small we struggled with the buggy So I want to know if booking dot com would compensate us and we were tricked to pay for 2 apartments even though we are one family And we are not happy about that
