Kings Cross Serviced Apartments by Concept Apartments

Spacious 1 bedroom apartment was nice

Nothing negative

We liked being back at the same location now for a fourth time, to find it again very pleasant.

The fire alarm went off. It took quite some time to get it shut off. It was due to people drying their washed clothes with a hair dryer in their room, causing quite some steam. Getting the question to the helpdesk by phone was less easy. It seems that they're not completely aware of the local situation, which makes it more difficult for any costumer to explain. In the end it got solved. This was the second time for me that during a stay the fire alarm was beeping.

Great location

Bed up against the wall not practical

Great location, from King's Cross you can get pretty much anywhere. It seemed pretty clean, and had a nice shower.

There is a MICE PROBLEM in this building, after one day of staying in the apartment, we got a wonderful surprise of finding two mice inside a backpack in which we had packed some rice cakes as a snack. Mind you this was the only food we left on the floor level and it was packed in plastic. The mice ate it and defecated all over our bags... For the rest of the stay they were hiding under the kitchenette (and making noises). The staff did answer my messages regarding this, but all they could offer was a guy that came the next day to check the apartment and say "well, I see no mice right now, so I can't really do anything, sorry"... Another thing is they do disclose that the WiFi is not reliable for professional / work purposes, but honestly it barely works for ANY purpose, it's so bad that I had to use mobile data 90% of time, just to use stuff like google maps etc.
