Rossignol II

The property is located at the edge of Zermatt. This is probably the cheaper option in Zermatt. The house has 2 toilets and 2 rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Washing machine was available and this was helpful for our trip. Full kitchen facilities were available.

Only downside was the property is located at higher floor and there is no lift available. 10 mins walk from train station. Easy access without luggage. However, with luggage, it’s challenging to walk uphill to the train station.

Great for a family of five. Easy walk to everything.

Mostly clean, but a lot of mold in the bathroom and the washer, the latter making our clothes smell when we washed them.

Very nice property and conveniently located. Short walk to the train, restaurants and grocery.

Close to downtown Zermatt, fifteen minute walk. The unit was adequately appointed

No fault of the owner there is major construction in Zermatt. But we should have been warned we were in the middle of the constructions zone . The alleyway was horrible…. Garbage and discarded wood. The balcony overlooked the core of wood storage with ongoing vehicle traffic. The day they emptied the porta potty was discussing! A little warning from the owner would have been nice? Finding the actual unit in the group of buildings was a challenge. There was a one floor only elevator but then we had to exit that building to find another and hike up three floors with our luggage. Plus there is a train running nearby multiple times a day. Another point the city tax has to be paid in cash! FYI
