Rather disappointed because the owner cannot explained why did he gave us another apartment (Tetka)

Bathroom was clean

1.The owner give me another apartment (Tetka Guest House) instead of Majka guesthouse and I don't know Why.It was 900m away from Kotor main bus station (Majka is only 750m away). 2.There are no elevator to reach highfloor, only stairs and it was high upstairs.We have to lift our luggage to highfloor. 3.Kitchen: I can not use the stove,it was very slow to cook.I once want to cook some instant noodle but the stove was very slow to cook the water so I cancel to cook. 4.Wifi didn't working at all

Convenient hostel location

Right in the old town. Great location. Air conditioning was great. Beds had curtains. Nice to have a kitchen available (including fridge, stove and microwave).

One bathroom was shared between 14 people. So if someone was in the shower, you had to wait to use the toilet or to brush your teeth. Staffing was intermittent. I had to wait a while to check in because my bus was late and I did not arrive at my estimated time. Kitchen was not very clean. I had to wash a pot from the cupboard to cook a meal (it was caked with old food). Kitchen floor was dirty. Cleaning cloth smelled very badly (there was no tea towel or hand towel).

There is literally only one bathroom for >10 people. Would be fine if it was shower and toilet separate, but they are both in the same room. Means waiting a long time in mornings

Nothing! Don’t stay here! Is not like the pictures! It’s super hot and horrible!

The room was super hot, not aircon not fun nothing! The smell was so bad! The kitchen was super tiny, no chairs or table! You can not sit to eat! They send us to another guest house was a horrible experience! You can’t pay with card just cash! Don’t stay here! One night 1 girl got locked in the toilet 1 Am everyone screaming trying to open the old door. Everything was a nightmare in that place

Loved that location, ıts in old-town and you can go quickly to everywhere. You can walk to beach 10min only. Also there are too many restaurants and cafes.

There is only one bathroom so it was hard for us. If someone is in the shower, you can’t do your toilet maybe 20min?😮‍💨 also kitchen is not so clean, food area should be clean, such as refrigerator

Not sure I would stay again because of the toilet situation, but everything else was pretty good

So well located right in the centre of Kotor. Beds are also very comfortable and come with privacy curtains.

We didn’t have any aircon in the upstairs room which made it very hot and only having one toilet between like 20 people was a bit of a joke as it wasn’t that cheap.

Low quality for the money

Location and Kitchen even then it was a mess

Staff call me 8 times to check in early because she wanted to leave. Even though check in was until 8pm she wanted to check in before shift which was 4pm. It’s all voluntaries, so if someone is missing you will have trouble. Actually one guy couldn’t check in because no staff available.

1. Good location. 2. Friendly staff. 3. The staff came out at midnight to pick and even it was sleeping time he was smiling and running to help 4. Good Wi-Fi 5. The staff is having a connection with the guests via WhatsApp or call which is good 6. All sightings near to the hostel

1. One bathroom/shower room for entire hostel which is not clean well due to high volume of the guests 2. Noise from the Old town pub 3. Check out time is too early 4. You must to have always a hostel key with you to get in as it is always locked 5. No reception 24/7. Only texting or available in day time 6. The washroom door handle was broken 7. They accept only cash for payment. No credit card. So care always cash if planning to stay 8. The stairs noisy when stepping which makes uncomfortable for you. So will try not to go out from the room at night

Great place to stay in Kotor

The hostel is good. It is clean. The dorm beds have curtains that add some extra privacy. There is a kitchen to cook and warm your food. The location is in the old town, so at first it is difficult to find it (it is not the owners fault). They organize a free pick up from a bar nearby so you can manage to find it.

During my stay at Majka Guest House in Kotor, I had a very positive experience. The location is excellent, situated in the heart of the historic center, which made it easy to access the city's main attractions. Additionally, the environment was quiet, allowing for a pleasant rest. The bathroom was huge and always very clean, which certainly contributed to my satisfaction during the stay. The staff was extremely attentive, always ready to help and provide useful information, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience in a cozy and comfortable environment. I recommend Majka Guest House to anyone looking for a comfortable and central experience in Kotor.

One downside I noticed was that the Wi-Fi did not work very well in the shared room, which can be an inconvenience for those who need to connect frequently. Despite this, the quality of the stay outweighed this minor issue.

Bonne localisation et lits confortables. Lieu propre.

Le prix est très très cher pour les services proposés : Une salle de bain pour 15 personnes, pas d'espace commun pour échanger. Le mauvais rapport qualité prix est d'autant plus incompréhensible car le ménage est assuré en très grande partie par des volontaires et non des employés.

La peor estancia de mi vida como viajera

Nada, el peor hostal de mi vida.

Ha sido el peor hostel en el que he estado en mi vida (y soy viajera) lo primero la dirección no está bien especificada y me tiré un buen rato, buscando la casa. 2º lugar llegué a las 14:15min y mi cama no estaba lista, y sigo mi cama que solo era cambiar una sábana porque en este hostel no limpian nada, limpiar mierda sobre mierda. Las sábanas solo lavan la bajera, lo que te dan para arroparte puede andar solo, yo preferí arroparme con mi toalla de playa sucia. La cocina es asquerosa, el estropajo debe de llevar años sin cambiar, y el baño tiene muebles oxidados y muy asqueroso. Además no hay papel nunca, se acaba y no reponen… creo que lo llevan unos jóvenes voluntarios y que la dueña o dueño no pasa nada pero ahí. Además está en el centro, ubicación perfecta pero tienes muchos bares con música alta alrededor. No recomiendo esta estancia. Y es la primera vez que pongo una opinión negativa… Subo fotos y no hacen justicia. Espero que os ayude

Muito legal a hospedagem em Old Town!

O hostel fica em Old Town. Então, é legal ficar hospedado em um lugar antigo. No hostel tem cozinha que dá para preparar as refeições. No quarto tem ar condicionado e na cama tem cortina. O hostel fica pertinho da estação de ônibus, próximo também de restaurantes e mercados. Mas, o local mais barato para comer e ir no supermercado é fora de Old Town : ) Enfim, Kotor e as cidades próximas são lindas!

A única coisa que não gostei foi que a tomada perto da minha cama estava folgada, daí não conseguia carregar o celular.

Замечательный уютный хостел в самом-самом центре Старого города. Комфортная постель, кондиционер, запирающийся ящик для вещей, три розетки рядом с каждой кроватью. На кухне есть холодильник, плита, микроволновка, чайник, посуда - в общем, все необходимое. Персонал очень отзывчивый и дружелюбный, помогли мне решить проблему с поздним заселением.

В душевой комнате грязно, и это главное, что подпортило впечатление об этом месте.
