The Antiche Mura is an ancient Sicilian farmhouse located in a panoramic position. The property was completely renovated by the owners in 2023 using bio-construction techniques and state-of-the-art energy efficiency systems.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a large botanical garden typical of the Sicilian landscape, with a white limestone rock on which traces of quarries dating back more than 2000 years are visible. The view is characterized by centuries-old olive trees, medlar and carob trees, rows of lavender, rosemary, mulberry and citrus trees, ancient roses and aromatic plants.
The structure, furnished with refined furniture in Sicilian and Provençal style, very close to the hamlet of Belvedere di Siracusa, where all services and shops of possible interest are available, is located just 500 meters from the archaeological complex of Castello Eurialo of the ancient Greek polis of Syracuse, and is characterized by a "rocky garden" from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of Ortigia and Porto Grande di Siracusa on one side, and on the other side of the entire valley of the Anapo River.
Le Antiche Mura is located in a strategic position close to the motorway junction, which allows you to easily reach by car all the municipalities of the province and the seaside resorts on the eastern coast of Syracuse, from the closest (about 11 km) to the furthest.
