Dry meat and clean and well cared for. Had the necessities. Close walk to metro and Old Town. Good space to relax and to sit around the table playing cards. Host was great-very responsive.

⸻First of all, Maria was wonderfully attentive, and we are very happy and grateful to have chosen her place. Everything was spotless, charming, and exactly as pictured. The neighborhood is delightful for walking and very convenient to all of the best attractions in DC. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

My family of four stayed here for over three weeks during the summer while I was working in DC. This property is on a nice, quiet street. Very close to two grocery stores and some good restaurants in walking dustance. King St is about a mile away. The metro bus stop is very close and convenient. We had an issue at our property the first night and the hosts and owner were very responsive in getting everything remedied. All appliances and AC worked fine. The internet does not reach the third bedroom with the desk, so i had to set up my office elsewhere. We made good use of the private courtyard. Dining room was good size. Living room is quite small but it worked fine for us. All together, glad we booked here.

We spent five nights in this charming 3-bedroom townhome, on a quiet, tree-lined street just minutes away from the excitement of Kng Street and the Alexandria harbor! The building is neat and comfortable, with solid construction that harkens back to the history of this town. We especially enjoyed the enthusiam of the neighborhood toward the upcoming halloween celebrations, with decorations everywhere and a trick-or-treat street on King St. the Saturday before October 31st. As first time visitors, we can recommend historic tours of Christ Church (where Washington regularly attended, the Gadsby Tavern and the Carlyle House, all with a few minutes walk. The kitchen is equipped to 0prepare one's own meals, but there are plenty of places to eat. We recommend the Royal (established in 1904) just 2 blocks away, and the Majestic for lunch or dinner with a side of Jazz. We will definitely try this property again next time we travel to the DC area (it's also cose to a metro stop!).
