Building stinks a horrid odour. Toilet next to laundry room is covered in poo even on the rim and huge poop smeared on base. Been close to 24 hours or more uncleaned. I told maintenance guy as i saw him, but just like he never fixed my shower, he never got the toilet cleaned? Aircon in room says on, but even though its set at 18 deg there is no cool. Room is stuffy and humid. Swimming pool is filthy milky unclear
Staff are very helpful, especially julia who also has a very good sense of humor.
Rooms however are not worth the inflated prices. Broken old shower that one has to hold as attachment is broken. Shower cubicle is tiny. I brought maintenance guy to see. He promised to come back and fix but didnt
There is no bug screen on windows and on first night man opened window nighttime and i didnt réalise until i heard loads of buzzing around my ears and i got savagely bitten on my face and arms. Next night i woke up to find black beetles crawling on my bed and stuff. Place is quite dirty and i sat on a chair 3rd floor and as I lifted the chair by the arms it was so disgustingly sticky. Substance gluing my hand to the chair. Vile. Room was 111 and there is a tv on this floor that people were blasting very late at night, along with music. Its a noisy party hostel with constantly banging doors shouting laughing during sleeping hours.
This hostel is mainly large groups of French kids. Thats all i mainly saw on night one. But hostel attracts lots of groups who are very noisy.
Family night for the free cooked meal i thought started from 8pm. At 8.16pm i was told all the food was finished and i saw an empty pot on the table. So that means everyone rushes down before 8pm. All plates and pots cleared by 8.16? Thats very fast eating. Quite annoyed as the eating time was very small. Usually hostels allow a 1 to 2 hour schedule. They said they only made small amounts so there was no waste? All pots and plates were empty at 8.16pm. This means everyone ate rapidly, but how? Everyone was talking? A better idea would be to let everyone who wants to eat 'family dinner' sign a board downstairs early in the day. Then cook knows how much to make, but makes some extra for big eaters?
I loved the roof terrace, but its not open to watch sunrise. Also they should make a shaded area for daytime on the roof as its the best place in the hostel

Communal toiiets are filthy, tables for eating dirty, and swing is sticky and insecurely fastened. Good points are that cheap travellers can have all meals for free if they are prepared to cook. Lots of free food. I couldnt be bothered, so didnt use

This hostel I would recommend whit the eyes closed , they are very friendly, lovely since you arrive , there are gentile , generous ambient juvenile , I was happy , thanks for doing mi still great , 💕
