The hotel was well located, and the room was spacious. The staff was also kind and welcoming.

However, the breakfast was disappointing. There wasn’t much choice, and regardless of what time we came, there were always leftovers. The cleanliness of the room could also be improved.

I appreciated that my celiac disease was taken seriously and that gluten-free options were provided for me at breakfast. This was important to me, especially while travelling, and I appreciate the effort made to accommodate my dietary requirements.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that negatively affected our stay. Cleanliness was the biggest concern: during our three full days, the apartment was cleaned only twice and not thoroughly. There were visible shoe marks and stains on the sides of the bed and stains on the white bed frame from previous guests. We also saw cleaning staff sitting in guest rooms talking and laughing while rooms were still being cleaned around 2:20 PM. The shower was leaking and caused the bathroom floor to flood whenever we used it. Communication before arrival was also poor, as I contacted the property a day beforehand regarding my celiac disease and received no response, leaving me unsure whether I needed to bring my own food. Breakfast choices were very limited, particularly because pork was the only meat option, with no alternative such as chicken or turkey. As I am pregnant and celiac, finding suitable food while travelling is already difficult. We asked whether a simple gluten-free sandwich could be prepared for our journey, but the request was refused, which resulted in us searching for an open shop on a Sunday night to buy gluten-free bread and groceries. The staff also appeared very young and inexperienced, had limited English, often seemed unsure when handling requests, and were frequently on their phones. Considering the price, we have stayed in hotels in more expensive destinations for a similar amount and received a significantly higher standard of cleanliness, service, facilities, and hospitality. Finally, after leaving my review, I was contacted by the property and asked to delete it, which I found highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Guests should be able to share their genuine experiences without being pressured to remove their reviews.
