Het Herenhuis Middelburg

Sehr gute Lage, charmante kleine Sonnenterrasse, sehr gute Ausstattung inkl. freie Nutzung von Kaffeekapseln und Spültabs (finde ich insbesondere bei Kurztrips wichtig, da sonst immer erst nervig zum Supermarkt ...), super freundliche Gastgeber.

Die Treppe ist naturgemäß bei den historischen Häusern sehr steil. Mir macht das nichts, aber man sollte schon fit sein.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die stets um unser Wohl besorgt waren. Problemlose Schlüsselübergabe trotz früherer Anreise von 1 1/2 Stunden.

The location is perfect—close to the train station and right in the city centre. The hosts are exceptionally friendly, thoughtful and attentive to detail. On the morning of our arrival, they sent us a warm welcome message via WhatsApp, together with all the practical information we needed, presented in a very clear and straightforward manner. We especially appreciated that they welcomed us personally upon arrival, showed us around the apartment and explained everything in detail. The apartment was exceptionally clean—not a speck of dust could be found anywhere. The hosts also provided high-quality toiletries, along with a lovely selection of coffee, tea and chocolates. The apartment is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. It feels both homely and like a stylish boutique apartment. It was also very convenient that the hosts lived next door. They kindly looked after our luggage after we checked out, allowing us to enjoy our final sightseeing plans before returning later in the afternoon. Overall, the hosts truly went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We would highly recommend this apartment!

There was nothing we disliked about this place. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the stairs are quite steep and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. We had no difficulty climbing them, and the hosts kindly helped us carry our luggage upstairs upon arrival, which was a very thoughtful gesture.

Heel sfeervol en erg compleet appartement midden in het centrum van Middelburg. Heerlijke bedden, fijne douche, compleet ingerichte keuken. Aan alles is gedacht, van koffiecups tot Rituals producten, keukendoeken en vaatwastabletten. Er is ook niet bezuinigd op mooie accessoires en planten. Wij waren, vermoedelijk, een van de eerste gasten. Ik hoop voor de superaardige hosts dat alles zo mooi blijft. Ligging is ook perfect, in ca 25 stappen sta je midden in de winkelstraat. Heel handig om tussendoor even je aankopen binnen te leggen.

Eigenlijk niets, maar als ik iets moet noemen, is het de steile trap en de heel erg krappe parkeerplaats, waar je ook flink voor moet betalen.
