It was an entire home in a beautiful garden setting.
It had everything we could have possibly needed including a washing machine.
My friends and I each had a queen bed and bathroom to ourselves.
It was very close to old town of Lecce by car but situated in a very quiet area.
We appreciated being able to park our hire car inside the gated driveway.

Very spacious, comfortable and cool house. Good bathrooms and excellent showers. Magnificent garden, looked after by the lovely owner. Plenty of shady spots. Close to the motorway, so that’s in the background, but didn’t really bother us. Very secure parking.
It was a bit more than walking distance to Lecce, but there’s a bus at the end of the road and a big free car park about halfway into town, with a 20-minute walk to get there.
The kitchen is not very well equipped - a dishwasher and microwave would be good additions, as would wine glasses, tall tumblers and some more implements (spatula/fish slice - other than the very large BBQ one - wooden spoon, egg beater.

Property taxes as clean with big rooms and having our own bathrooms was a bonus.
Only downside to this property was the bin sorting. It became quite stressful with multiple messages about sorting the waste correctly.
