Vale dos Amores, a Home in Madeira

We really liked the spacious and bright interior of the apartment, as well as its amenities. A big plus is the two separate bedrooms and the practical kitchenette, which has everything you need. We also appreciated the private parking space. As a bonus, the apartment offers an indoor grilling area – we didn’t get a chance to use it, but for families with children it could be a very nice addition to the stay. Overall, we were satisfied and would gladly recommend this accommodation.

What we didn’t like was that the bathroom is poorly ventilated, which causes some dampness to be noticeable in the apartment, especially if you’re away all day. Otherwise, everything was fine for us — we didn’t mind anything else, not even the cats 🫠

Ruim, modern appartement. Fantastisch uitzicht. Alle benodigde keukenvoorzieningen aanwezig. Om de hoek een bakkerij. Vriendelijke gastvrouw die snel reageert op vragen.

De poezen waren erg opdringerig, waardoor je de buitendeur eigenlijk niet open kan laten staan. Eén slaapkamer had geen buitenraam.

Wir waren als Paar zum Wandern auf Madeira und haben uns im Appartement in Calheta rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist groß, sauber und bestens ausgestattet – es fehlt an nichts. Für Ausflüge und Wanderungen im Westen der Insel ist die Lage ideal. Die Betreuerin vor Ort war hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Es sind ca. 180 Höhenmeter(!) und 30 Gehminuten zum Strand und der Promenade, an der es nette Lokale, einen guten Supermarkt und diverse Angebote wie Whale Watching und Fishing gibt (auch Parkplätze 😊)
