Villa Pinheira I

Nicely remote from the communities. Space enough for us as a couple. Parking lot nicely big so that we could use it as a second reelaxing area.

Sun beds are a must for holidays. The ones we git need renewal. Normal coffemachine but we prefer espresso machine. One of the bed rooms remains very hot because window can only open a little bit. Villa could use a “facelift” with a bit better kitchen and some new furniture.

Très propre et spacieux, agréable et pratique avec sa grande entrée pour déposer des affaires.

Le lit double est petit et la matelas pas très confortable. Le WC dans la salle de bain ce n’est pas pratique non plus mais je sais que cela se fait beaucoup.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert per WhatsApp. Er hat immer schnell reagiert. Auch die Informationen zur Schlüsselbox waren rechtzeitig eingegangen. Als Willkommensgruß haben wir eine Schüssel voller frisch geernteter Bananen vorgefunden. Außerdem hat uns Jorge (der Vermieter) von seiner Frau selbst gebackene, leckeres Gebäck (es war Weihnachten) vorbeigebracht. Sehr freundlich, sehr zurückhaltend, aber zuvorkommend. Ruhige Lage, tolle Aussicht, geräumige Wohnung. Großer Supermarkt nur 10 Autominuten entfernt. Mikrowelle mit allen Finessen, Induktionsherd mit zwei Platten, Geschirrspülmaschine, Waschmaschine - es fehlte an nichts.

The property was very easy to find and from areas of the house you have stunning views over the sea. The house is modern with good facilities. The 2 bathrooms had walk in power showers. There were also 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and a 3rd with twin beds. Another positive is that it is pet friendly.

The photos need to be updated, it looks like the villa is surrounded by beautiful vegetable gardens when in fact you were overlooking dried up wasteland which was very unsightly and not what we expected. The house, although a new build, was not very well maintained, with tatty bedside draws, bedside lights that didn't work, holes in the lounge floor, rusty outside loungers which most were broken, cracked walls and a big problem with ants & cockroaches. This could have been a wonderful place to stay if a little TLC (tender loving care) was given to it.
