The location was great, in nature and quiet. The host was responsive and answered all our questions. The house was great and we really loved our stay there.
There was no hot water in the shower.

The size and layout of the chalet was just right for me, with everything needed provided, including cooking facilities. I have visited Ko Yao Noi many times, but this is the first time i have stayed at the Western end of the island, not far from Manao pier. The pair of chalet's are set in a grassy garden on a road that loops to the west, with some spur roads that give access to the western point. I did swim from a beach there, but i recommend care because of strong tidal streams between Ko Yao Noi and Ko Yao Yai, also sharp rocks can loom up in poor visibility. For swimming, Pasai Beach, and beyond, is a better bet, at higher tides anyway, and it takes about 10 minutes on a scooter. I liked the muslim restaurant for a 'kanom jiin' breakfast and coffee, about 500m to the east where the loop road meets the main road to Manao Pier. Also not far, a market selling fried chicken and sticky rice. The main town is just 5 minutes away, with restaurants, police, hospital and a 7/11. The air con was quiet and kept a steady temperature; comfortable set at 27 degs
I never seem to be able to work out how to use the TV in properties generally, i guess a teenager would have no trouble. Also the wifi was unsecured, so i was a bit wary about using it

The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary appliances. The room was comfortable and spacious. We especially liked the porch, which was a nice extra. The internet connection was reliable and fast enough for working and attending Teams meetings.
There was no water heater, so showers were only cold (though not ice-cold). The towels were water-resistant and did not absorb water properly. There were a few blemishes on the bed sheets. When we arrived, the bathroom sink water was running continuously (not dripping), and we were unable to turn it off. We informed the host, but there was no response or solution, so the water kept running for the entire 3-day stay. The host replied to other things, but it took a lot of time to get a response.
