Simple and quiet place near the beach

Lovely small set of 3 bungalows in a garden, just behind Island Yoga (1 minute walk if you want to go to their drop in morning class). The rooms were simple, but clean and comfortable. Ahn and his wife, who look after the place, were very kind and helpful. They bring a thai breakfast from the market every morning. You're a 2 minute walk from a quiet beach. The room had a kettle with coffee and tea. Very good value for money!

Would be good if there was a safe in the room, but otherwise it was all great.

Wonderful hosts in a serene paradise

The place was so serene and beautiful; nestled perfectly in nature just a short distance away from my favourite beach on the island. But my biggest thanks go to the two hosts. Truely kind, warm, and caring people. The day I arrived, I was suffering badly from food poisoning and was confined to my bed and room for the first two days of my stay. Not only was I sick, but I was feeling extra fragile and vulnerable, being that I was travelling alone with no one to support me. However, the hosts went out of their way to look out for me and look after me. Cooking me an extra special breakfast to aim my recovery and making sure I had everything I needed. It was incredibly touching and helped me feel safe and at home while I rested. I have no hesitation in recommending and am hoping to return again for an extended stay 🙏

Calm, peaceful & comfortable

Loved my stay at Mangrove. Ahn & Honey were incredibly kind and helpful and I especially appreciated the homemade breakfast she brought me every morning. The bungalow was lovely, very clean and the location is perfect for yoga lovers – there’s a drop-in yoga class right in front of the bungalows.

Beautiful and relaxing time spent by the sea.

Lovely location, cute bungalow. Loved the Thai cushion matttresses for lounging around. Tasty breakfast with local Thai specialties and fruit. Mosquito net great at night!

Had a problem with ants in the room (got into all the luggage) but besides that all good!

Clean and rustic lodge in jungle setting near the beach

Very sweet and rustic accomodation right next to the yoga retreat and beach. The place was clean and bed/pillows and sheets were nice, and they provided a yummy and very local breakfast wrapped in banana leaves. Electric kettle with coffee and tea (no milk or creamer provided).

There was no minifridge, and it was cold showers (maybe the system was not working). Also it was hard for the bemo driver to find. If you say you can be dropped off at the Island yoga retreat (which everyone knows), its just behind that.

Wonderful hospitality, smiles and a spotless room with little extras!

Thank you for the wonderful welcome and stay. We were really happy with everything and the breakfast was yummy. We liked that everything worked well, was spotless and that there were little extras like fresh coconuts and the owner helping us to organise a scooter within minutes. A lovely spot in nature close to the beach.

Only one window latch needs fixing, but that’s just for info. Everything was tip top.

Ystävälliset ja vieraanvaraiset majoittajat, siisti, ilmastoitu ja tilava bungalow aivan rannan ja joogapaikan vieressä. Puista saimme kookoksia ja aamuisin terassille tarjoiltiin simppeli aamupala, mikä oli mukava lisä. Sijainnista oli helppo kulkea skootterilla päiväretkille ympäri saarta. Läheisen tien varrella oli myös kivoja ravintoloita. Perheen koira ilahdutti meitä pihapiirissä päivittäin.

Se oli loppuunvarattu, joten emme voineet viipyä pidempään eli toisin sanoen ei mitään moitittavaa!

Richtig schöne Unterkunft: Schöner grüner Garten, große Terrasse, ruhig, toll ausgestatteter und sauberer Bungalow, super freundliches Personal, nah zum Strand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren traurig, dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben konnten.

L’établissement était très bien situé, quelques restaurants autour et la plage juste à côté, il y a un joli point de vue à 15min à pied, les hôtes étaient disponibles, il est possible de louer un scooter directement avec eux sans caution, le petit déjeuner est servi directement le matin sur la terrasse

Heerlijke plek in mooie tuin vlak achter het strand. Fijne host.

Mooie bungalows in prachtige tuin met goede bedden en fijne douche. Buitengewoon vriendelijke en toegankelijke host Honey, die met alles hielp. Vlak bij strand en goede restaurantjes. Rustige omgeving, maar met motortjes het eiland goed te bereizen.

Super rapport qualite/prix et good vibes !

La situation est excellente, à 10’ en taxi du Pier et à 3’ à pieds de la plage. L’hôte est adorable et s’est démené pour m’aider dans mon organisation. Mon bungalow (le jaune) était très bien (même si en arrivant sans lumière il peut paraître un peu nul). Les lits sont confortables, tout sent le propre et on reçoit un petit dej sur la terrasse du bungalow. À 1’ à pieds d’un resto thaï excellent et un salon de massage extra aussi. L’île est luxuriante, extrêmement verte et full animaux donc attendez vous à voir tout types de bébêtes inoffensives (et prévoyez des boules quies si vous êtes sensibles aux bruits d’animaux). Rassurez vous aucun animal dans la chambre :)

ATTENTION pour aller à Phiphi, le dernier bateau est à 13h et pas dispo en basse saison, je me suis fait avoir. Sinon bookez votre bateau à l’avance et le taxi est compris dans le billet de bateau. Du coup ne suis restée 2 nuits sans aucun regret !
