I'm so glad to have such a clean room with this affordable price. The room and the bathroom are so clean. Bed is also comfy with so many pillows for each person. The house owners are so kind, they even help to store our luggage after check-out.

Lack of chairs in the room, would be great if have chairs in the room although they have chairs outside the room. And also the bathroom does not have a window or an exhaust fan to flow out the steams or moisture.

La localisation et le rapport qualité prix sont absolument parfait. J'avais réservé 2 nuits j'y suis finalement restée 5. Logement dans un petit havre de paix juste à côté d'une des meilleures rue de Ubud pour se balader et manger. Ultra central, à proximité de pleins de point d'intérêt à pied, nombreux chauffeurs grabs disponibles, studios de yogas etc La chambre est propre, très agréable et le couple de propriétaire au petit soin pour vous aider. Super guesthouse !

Beautiful property, perfect location and super friendly staff. The room is like a quiet little haven in the business of Ubud!

Nothing, we loved it!

I stayed here for three weeks, so I definitely got a good feel for the property. What really sells it is the location—you’re right in the centre of Ubud, just a stone’s throw from plenty of great cafés and restaurants. It’s also very convenient if you do yoga, around 15 minutes to Yoga Barn and 10 minutes to Radiantly Alive. The bed was comfortable and the property is clean. Rooms are cleaned regularly and towels are changed every day.

The couple who run the property don’t speak English, so interaction was very limited beyond a basic hello and goodbye. When I arrived, they seemed confused, as though they weren’t expecting me, despite me sending multiple messages via Booking.com with my arrival details. This may be due to the language barrier, but it didn’t reflect the level of hospitality I’ve come to expect in Bali. As this is their home, they were frequently around—most mornings when I left and evenings when I returned. My room also overlooked the kitchen/communal area, which made it feel lacking in privacy. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting outside - even though there is a table and chairs. Noise was also an issue. I was woken up several times by people talking outside late at night, and most mornings I could hear someone spitting nearby, which was an unpleasant way to start the day. The room itself was quite dark and didn’t include some basic amenities such as a full-length mirror, kettle, or fridge. The air conditioning unit is poorly positioned and blows cold air directly onto the bed (actually on your face, so even worse), so I had to keep switching it on and off to stay comfortable. On one occasion, I returned to find my door had been left open by the cleaner, and on another, a dirty cleaning rag had been left on the bedside table. I also had issues with the hot water—it would turn cold before I could finish washing my hair. Water pressure, however, was fine, contrary to what some other reviews have mentioned.
