Ramada by Wyndham Fethiye Oludeniz

We had a lovely stay. Unfortunately and pool was a bit too cold to use and the shuttle to the beach was not running so that was a disappointment. Everything was beautiful otherwise. The food and drinks are quite expensive at the hotel so we had to go into town. It’s about a 15min walk uphill into the upper town and a 45min walk to the beach area, but we took the bus. Keep in mind the bus stop is at the bottom of a very steep driveway. The location would be better if you have a car rental.

The staff were very friendly, the sea view - breathtaking, the bed was comfortable. The seam sealing in the bathroom hasn’t been done properly, so mold and rust crawled under it giving this really dirty feel to the bathroom. The bathroom was dark and had a bit of a smell. The cleaning team couldn’t really do anything. It’s the question of maintenance.

I had the worst experience at Ramada Oludeniz. Firstly, do not be fooled by the pictures - the standard room is very small, a hostel room is bigger than this. The staffs are rude and are not trained appropriately. The room had a lot of mosquitoes, the shampoo canister was not filled, and had empty beer bottles that they tried to charge us for a minibar on check out. We really looked forward to the stay, drove 4 hours for this birthday trip of mine and mum’s. As soon as we arrived, there was a couple who was arguing with the reception about the worst room that they got given. We were exhausted from the drive but was told to “sit down and wait” for our room. We waited for 20 minutes, and then were brought to our room on the third floor. It was a shockingly small room facing the car park. It was so small that we didn’t even have space to open our luggages. We asked to change rooms, and said I’m willing to pay more if necessary, but they said they do not have an availability today but tomorrow they can upgrade our room. We tried to stay in the room but it was so small that we felt claustrophobic. We were also upset that we had spent $550 for this tiny room that was not advertised with on a booking website. We went back down to the reception to ask for a room change. They initially repeated that they do not have another room available. They then supposedly spoke to their manager and said there is another room they can show us. This whole process took 30 minutes without an explanation/update - we were just told to “sit down and wait” again. The other room was a corner room that didn’t even have an elevator access, and we had two big suitcases. They tried to negotiate with is to say either we can stay in the tiny room for one night and then get an upgrade for the second night, or we have to stay in this corner room. They said staying in the corner room and an upgrade the second night was not an option, as someone who’s going to be staying in the original tiny room would qualify the upgrade. Is this some kind of a quest that you have to fulfill and earn..? I was confused. Without an alternative I unwillingly said fine. Then they saw how unhappy I was so offered an upgrade to a deluxe room. I didn’t understand how initially unavailable rooms suddenly became available but accepted it as the new room appeared better. Staying in that room was also a disaster. There were 5-6 mosquitoes in the bathroom every day. They must have been coming in from the ventilator or something as we were very careful with opening the windows. Additionally, we came back from swimming and jumped into shower only to realize that the shampoo canister was empty. We called the reception and were told someone would bring it up but it didn’t arrive for 30minutes until I decided to change and go down for an update. The staff throughout the whole process NEVER apologized, and did not seem to be bothered. We were so eager to leave this horrendous place asap after our two nights of stay. When we tried to check out, the reception staff didn’t let us leave for 15 minutes saying that we were meant to stay for three nights. This was not true and I showed them the booking website confirmation, but she still insisted that we “sit down and wait”. We had a tight schedule so when I said we have to go, she unwillingly got me to sign a checkout form and showed us a minibar charge this time. We did NOT use the minibar at all but did realize when we moved into the room that there were two empty beer bottles in the fridge. We thought this was funny and took a picture, which thankfully worked in our favor to “prove” that we didn’t drink them. Of note, we drank wine/beer at the poolside restaurant, and had no reason to use the minibar. The whole stay was appalling. I do not want to recommend anyone to stay in this hotel and have the same kind of disappointing experience.

Güzel bir manzarası var. Kahvaltı çeşitliliği fena değil ancak saat 10:00 itibariyle kahve ve su dahil herşeyi topluyorlar. Kahvenizi 09:59a kadar almanızı öneririm. Personelde güler yüz pek yok. Odaya girdiğimizde havlu yoktu, istedik. İnanmak istemediler, içeri buyur edip havlu olmadıgını kanıtlamak zorunda kaldık. Odamızda güneşlik pencereye göre kısaydı, değiştirilmesini rica ettik, kaldığımız 4 gün boyunca oralı olan olmadı. Birşey talep etmeyin, boşa nefes tüketmeyin bence. Kaldığımız 510 nolu odanın banyosunda ağır bir küf/lağım kokusu vardı. Otoparkı kısıtlı, yer olmayınca taksi durağını işaret ettiler, taksicilerle sorun yaşadık. Bir daha gelmeyeceğimiz bir otel.
