いくつかのコンセントに電気が通っていなくて、朝携帯の充電がなかったことがあった

The house is a stunning and spacious, traditional Japanese home. The detail in the roof, wood, shoji screens, high ceilings with wood beams, and extensive outdoor area/yard is just beautiful. It reminded me of some of the smaller museums I've seen here. The views are also really amazing; particularly the view of Mt. Fuji from the upstairs living room. The view of the area and the mountains on the other side of the home is also spectacular. There is a bit of work that is always needed with upkeep in older homes, but I felt that it was quite minor and didn't take away from the traditional beauty at all. The kitchen is fully equipped to make meals, there are 3 toilets, a clothes washer, a large private garden/ yard space, extra amenities provided, private parking, and it's so close to all the sightseeing spots. It was a bit cold upon our late night check-in, but that is every accommodation in Japan, as they don't like to waste energy. The individual room heaters on the wall heat up quite quickly. In addition, they also provided space heaters for the colder months since all the windows can create a bit of a draft. The host was responsive and helpful, and check-in/out was quick and easy with the provided instructions. We honestly wished we had spent more time there rather than going back to Tokyo. We highly recommend a stay here and will be looking to stay again when we come back to the area.
