Casa en Madrid

Limpio, y bien ubicado, El anfitrión es muy amable y está disponible en todo momento. El dia del check-out nos invitó a desayunar y nos ayudó con el equipaje.

Carece de televisión y el espacio esta poco aprovechado ya que sobran camas.

Buena ubicación , camas cómodas ideal para pernoctaciones cortas.

There was 7 of us but we do not need much ;-) The apartment is in a basement with no elevator. The furniture is OK but the top sheets, tabouret covers had stains so it would help if it was also washed and cleaned. There were two fans which we did not use, no heater but not needed as there were spare blankets and it was not that cold during our stay. Bathroom could use a little more precise sweeping (the cabinet was dusty and there was a used toothbrush) but there was hot water all the time, the toilet did not clog and we had enough toilet paper so no complaining there. Beds were reasonably comfortable. It is close to metro Estrecho (Mercadona), Tetuan (there is Lidl), or Francos Rodrigues (easiest to reach by bus 200 from airport and then from Avenida America metro). We expected to arrive later than 5 p.m. which is the time limit for check-in and thus we were informed about a „fine“ of 20 EUR for late arrival, actually we arrived 10 p.m. which was even one hour later than I was expecting due to plane delay but Imad was waiting for us so it all worked fine for us providing it was the cheapest accommodation I could find in Madrid. All in all we needed a place to sleep for the night as during the day we were outside anyway and in this respect it was fine although the first impression was a bit underwhelming ;-)

No TV – no problem! Wifi worked very well so we used our mobile phones No “proper” kitchen knife – well, we used the cutlery knifes (2) which were most suitable for cutting ;-) 2 mugs – we had to take turns in the morning coffee ;-) as there were 4 adults in our group 2 bowls – same situation but with porridge or soup ;-) simply had to take turns in using it No cupboards, hangers or other storage spaces – the biggest downside, we simply did not have any space to put our clothes in so we used the narrow cupboard in the bathroom and the towels were dried thrown on the fans. Although we had only small bags we had to leave them on the floor (fair to say the floor was clean enough). Personally I would get rid of all the dusty plush toys…..

It was actually fine even it’s far from metro station. Enough space even with groups.

The pillows and bedsheets smells bad. Linens and pillows should be washed very well. Also, the cooking pans should be changed because it’s health risk already.
