great place to stay for hiking, climbing at Magic Wood, or ski touring

Beautiful and recently remodeled place with thoughtfully furnished rooms. Each room has a little kitchen which is great for enjoying breakfast and the occasional dinner. Everything is within easy walking distance (bus stops and excellent bakery, dairy, and butcher shops) and the owners are super friendly. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect, no notes

Hotel Pitschonia exceeded our expectations during our week-long bouldering trip to Magic Woods. As climbers, we needed a comfortable base after long days on the rocks, and this hotel delivered perfectly. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond by offering mid-stay housekeeping service during our extended stay, which was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. The elevator was a godsend since the last thing we wanted was to haul heavy luggage up multiple flights of stairs. The bed deserves special praise – it was so incredibly comfortable that I found myself sleeping over 8 hours each night, which is rare for me, especially when traveling. After physically demanding days of bouldering, this restorative sleep made all the difference in our trip. Hotel Pitschonia strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality. Whether you're visiting Magic Woods for climbing or exploring the area for other reasons, this hotel provides everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. We'll definitely be returning on our next climbing trip to the region.

If I had one small suggestion for improvement, it would be to provide additional pillows or firmer options, as the current ones were quite flat for our preference. This is a minor detail that didn't significantly impact our overall excellent experience.

La zona è molto silenziosa e con pochissima illuminazione notturna, il che rende possibile ammirare un cielo stellato davvero magnifico. Un aspetto naturale molto piacevole del luogo.

Ho effettuato una prenotazione per una persona in tarda serata, intorno alle 23:00, poiché ero in viaggio. Trattandosi di un hotel self-service, mi aspettavo di ricevere automaticamente, dopo la prenotazione, istruzioni chiare per l’accesso alla struttura (codici, modalità di ingresso, parcheggio). Purtroppo non ho ricevuto alcuna informazione di questo tipo, né via email né tramite la piattaforma Booking. Una volta arrivato sul posto, non è stato possibile entrare nella struttura, nonostante la prenotazione fosse regolarmente confermata. Di conseguenza, sono stato costretto a dormire alcune ore in macchina. Il giorno successivo ho richiesto l’annullamento e il rimborso, ma la richiesta è stata rifiutata. Ritengo tuttavia che il problema principale sia la mancanza di istruzioni di accesso, elemento fondamentale per una struttura self-service, soprattutto per arrivi serali o notturni. È un peccato, perché la struttura sembrava molto curata. Spero che in futuro venga migliorata la comunicazione con gli ospiti, così da evitare situazioni simili.

Ich wünschte ich könnte öfter dort unterkommen.

Die Vermieter waren außerordentlich großzügig: Ich konnte früher als geplant in das Zimmer und auch noch am nächsten Tag bis 13:00 bleiben. Das hat mir sehr geholfen und ich bin sehr dankbar. Alles war top eingerichtet nach neuesten und nachhaltigen Standarts. Self check in war einfach und funktioniert gut. Alles wunderschön!

Rundum höchst zufrieden mit dem’Aufenthalt

Ich war äusserst positiv von Eurem Haus und vor allem dem Zimmer überrascht - nichts hat gefehlt, sehr sauber, tolle Materialien ( viel Holz, Naturstein, Schirm, Schulöffel, etc. etc. ). Ihr könnt Stolz sein aufs Pitschonia!

Der Bildschirmempfang ist für viele, insb.ältere Leute nicht einfach, gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich hsätte einige Ideen, aber hier zu aufwendig zum Schreiben (ev. Tf. )

Wir kommen wieder… Andeer ist eine Reise wert.

Wir waren in App. 14… ideal für 2 Personen. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und ruhige Lage. Speziell ist auch der grosse Veloraum mit Waschmaschine und Tumbler. Es har einfach alles was man sich wünschen kann.

Appartamento arredato con gusto, pulito e ben attrezzato: non manca nulla. Molto bello. Self Check- in veloce e facile. L’host Markus è stato molto gentile. Posizione centrale nel paese e molto tranquillo.

Sehr schön eingerichtete Zimmer. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Dörfchen bietet viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Alle Leute auf der Strasse grüssen nett, man fühlt sich als Gast willkommen. Es gibt kleine abgelegene Restaurants mit einer ausgezeichneten Küche.

Komme nicht wieder

Gute Lage

Keine Klimaanlage, stickige Luft und aufgestaute Hitze. Im Sommer nicht auszuhalten. Außerdem fehlen Fliegengitter. Die Nachbarn sind direkt vor der Tür und sehr laut. Für 250 € pro Nacht ist das völlig überteuert.
