Horrific mirage accommodation.

AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT TO TURN UP TO FIND SOMEONE ALREADY IS BOOKED IN. The owner double booked my booking with some else who checked in the previous night and was staying the first night of my 2 planned nights. Now of course, this can happen if the owner is sloppy and doesn’t track their bookings well across different booking sites, but I messaged the owners 3 times in the 2 weeks prior of my stay to enquire about check-out time and then also about accessing the property - I did not get a SINGLE RESPONSE. Booking.com confirmed these messages were delivered so the owners purposely ignored me. Having had no response, I called them as I was leaving for my 3 hour drive to Manchester to check I’d be able to access it, only to be told that I couldn’t stay at a place I had a confirmed booking because someone was already there, they then blamed Booking.com for the mistake. I called Booking.com who advised the issue is entirely that of the property owner for not closing their calendar on those dates and allowing double bookings. Awful experience, will be seeking compensation from the property owner and booking.com via legal routes if necessary.

Amazing Stay With Amazing Hosts

The house was lovely, perfect for a few nights. Didn't feel cramped at all and the facilities provided are amazing. Lots of cooking equipment and everything is provided at a very low price. Hosts were absolutely incredible!

Great value, a comfortable stay in an area which was perfect area for our needs.

Excellent communication from the hosts. Property was exceptionally clean and the host provided snacks and bottled water. Host was flexible with the book in time which was great.

The colour of the beddings and mirror wardobe, its made me jump thinking there were many other people in the bedroom seeing my own image. Also i felt like something once tickled me while on the bed sleeping.

Great accommodation!

The house had all the elements that one needs for self-catering. There is a train station nearby, which allowed us to take trains to scenic places around the area. Good bed and mattress in the double bedroom with spacious wardrobes. The kitchen was excellently equipped. It was a quiet place so we could sleep really well. It was an advantage to be able to park the car right in front of the house.

The sofa and benches in the lounge/diner were a little uncomfortable.

Perfect, clean and comfortable house with accomodating hosts!

The location was easy to get to and the place had many facilities and amenities including free snacks and bottles of water as well as kitchenware and herbs and spices perfect for cooking. There was a washing machine, dishwasher and iron/ironing board, perfect for longer stays and a spacious outdoors. The house itself was very clean and roomy, beds were comfortable and everything was of a high standard. Appliances also had stickers with instructions on how to use them which was very helpful.

Great location - superbly clean

This was self catering with everything provided for a stay. There is a full complement of kitchen appliances, coffee making and some extra goodies - coffee, tea, biscuits and crisps - a welcome surprise. Everything was clean and in good order and the location was ideal for my business. Wifi was excellent and easy to log in

A couple of improvements would enhance the stay. There were no towels in the kitchen - tea towel or hand towel and this made drying up difficult when downstairs. There is a lack of plug sockets in the lounge - resting the computer on the table meant having to move everything around to get connected easily. The blinds in the bedroom didn't work so the room was very light all night - maybe a black out blind or curtains would be beneficial to get a better nights sleep

Lovely , cosy family stay

Host was very quick at responding , lovely little touches like coffee machine / pods , bottled water , chocolates etc . Main bedroom had plenty of space and lots wardrobe space to put bags / cases away . Heating you could control yourself so was always comfortable temperate . Plenty towels etc which was great with kids.

Just one thing could improve the stay would be bigger / more comfy sofa it’s very small for family of 4 however everything else was spot on

Stunk of weed when we arrived, needed to buy a candle to try and disguise the smell Sofa needs to be more comfortable and needs more seating space Very Steep stairs Told there was towels so never brought any ( only 2 small hand towels and 2 face cloths) no bath towels ?

Lovely house - clean, comfortable and nicely decorated

Lovely house, clean and nicely decorated. We could park outside. Everything we needed for an overnight stay after playing a show in Manchester. We met the host as we left and she was very friendly!

The only thing was we couldn't work out how to use the coffee machine, but that was a very minor thing!
