Bespoke Bungalow Salford Quays - Garden, WiFi and Parking

Ideally located. Easy access for walking or the tram to city and the quays. Off road parking was a bonus. Despite the excellent road access it was a quiet location with a tesco extra in striking distance for essentials. After a long drive the welcome pack was a great touch. Nicely furnished with garden access. Nice and light inside. Generally clean and tidy.

Decor/fittings/finishings a little tired and worn in places. Generally clean throughout, just noted a couple of things that make you start looking for issues, (black string under bed, a hair tie in lounge, shower gel cap). Not a deal breaker. Bed VERY soft, not to our preference but I’m sure some would love that!!

Wrong keys code on booking site but owner answered his phone straight away and gave the correct one. Large bedrooms. Large kitchen. Lovely lounge with a welcome pack. There is a large TV in the lounge and one in each bedroom saving me from suffering the soaps. The enclosed back garden is protected by trees and a real sanctuary. The location is fine - ten minute walk over the canal to a tram stop. The is a shopping village five minutes walk.

Nothing. The onsite parking was a true bonus.

Nice home with a lovely garden, very quiet. Bus stop nearby makes it easy to get into the city if you don’t have a car. Leo easy to communicate with.

A couple of aspects needed attention - now rectified.

Wet room was great, and in general there was a high level equipment and plenty of kitchen equipment. A "how to ...." guide for the bits of equipment would have helped. The location was central, but surprisingly quiet. Ideally located to help by daughter who is at Salford Uni. It was accessible for my wife who can manage a few steps but otherwise uses a wheelchair. The entrance hall has a tight corner, but is just navigable with a wheelchair.

The 2 13.5 tog duvets sewn together to make a 27 tog duvet was too much for the current weather and extremely heavy. Luckily a thin blanket was also provided and we put that into the duvet cover instead of the duvet.
