Spacious bungalow near Salford Quays

Good sized bungalow with spacious rooms all off a central hallway. TV in every room! Huge fridge freezer. Great to have Off street parking! Good sized well maintained garden with decking/seating area. Good location in Ordsall for Salford Quays, about 5-8 min drive away.

Two seater sofa for 4 person house. The only mirror is the bathroom one, would be good to have mirrors in the bedroom to get ready/do hair and makeup. Few minor cleaning and maintenance issues which we informed host about - bathroom light not working, no dishwasher tabs, dust in bedroom. Room scenters in every room. Driveway bit tight if you have an SUV/large car!

10/10 a home from home and one of the best properties I have stayed in.

A stunning property, lots of amenities were supplied for us including snacks, tea coffee etc. The bed in the main bedroom was so comfy we slept like babies. Everything was clean and tidy and all in working order. TV’s in every room which were fully functional. Decor throughout was beautiful and modern. The hosts were simply wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us. Plenty of things to do nearby, we stayed for football but ventured out into Manchester in our free time. The house even though near a main road was super quiet so you had no noise from cars at all so we managed to relax in a clean and calm environment. We were able to speak to the hosts whenever we needed to but as everything was perfect we never needed to contact them. Highly recommend this property, it feels like a home from home and it made our stay very enjoyable. Definitely will be booking here again! Thank you so much Leo and Sophie!

The house is large and spacious, providing a very comfortable stay. The host is extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout. It is also conveniently located within walking distance to the bus stop and tram, making getting around easy and hassle-free.

Great hassle-free weekend away.

Great location for Old Trafford and Salford Quays, easy to get into the city centre by tram or even on foot along the canal. Good to have off-street parking and the house warmed up quickly when we arrived. Didn’t use the kitchen or garden as we were mostly out and about but I’m sure the would be great for a different kind of trip.

No tea towels that we could find.

Amazing!

The bungalow was so clean and spacious, it even had added extras such as tea bags, coffee, sauces, a few welcome snacks. The shower was powerful and didn’t soak everything like normal in a wet room. The bed in the master room is soooo comfy! The location was perfect we used the app freeways and was able to get taxi’s within minutes to the centre. Even after the concert which was surprising!

It’s hard to find any faults for this place but if I had to make any changes I think a bin in the bathroom would be good and also a full length mirror or a mirror next to plugs in order to be able to do your hair.

Very kind and responsive hosts. Very close to the Manchester Half (our reason for staying).

The wet room didn’t drain too well but it wasn’t too bad. It was cool there was a wet room!

Great Value, Great Place

The property was ideal and spacious with good facilities. The host had exceptional communication skills and answered the questions I had. I was slightly sceptical about the area, but it proved to be perfect with a walk or taxi to and from the city centre. Value for money without a doubt!

Very disappointing. The pictures bear little resemblance to the reality of the property and definitely not worth its 9.5

The location was excellent. Off street parking was good and is a bonus in a city location and the property is in a quiet area. Good transport links nearby by bus and tram and near to Salford Quays. Some toiletries and snacks provided.

The whole property is tired and needs refurbished. All the furniture, furnishings and fittings are in need of replacement. Only minimal cleaning. A very dirty towel was found in one of the bedroom drawers and some clothing left by a previous guest was found in the wardrobe. Not nice. Lights not working in several rooms. Lack of clothes hangers. Random cables & extension leads scattered around all rooms. Only 1 mirror in the property in the bathroom. All the clocks, three around but none working. Big table in the lounge but only one 2 seater sofa for a 2 bedroom 4 person property. Could not get Sky TV. All beds were uncomfortable. A pack of information regarding the property facilities operation and the local area transport, supermarkets, local shops, pubs and restaurants would have been very useful. Some info on wall posters was available for the property facilities.

Perfect for our needs. Very accessible, could park car on drive, spacious bathroom, well equipped sitting room

No washing up products made things a little tricky but fortunately we only did a little self catering. However I think this was a blip

It was a lovely place to stay. Nothing really to complain about except for the shower, it can be improved.

The location is perfect, accessible to every where we wanted to go to. Easy to locate when we were coming. Quiet neighbourhood. Has almost everything one needs to be comfortable in a home. Wi-Fi was fast and free parking as well. The decor was also good.

The bathroom is a walk-in shower without a demarcation such as curtains or glass doors and occasionally stops flowing even in the middle of your shower.

Weekend family break

Bungalow was perfect as we were with an older parent. Parking was extremely useful especially for the area. Was close to everything we wanted to visit by car and had a tram stop a short walk away. Fully equipped with everything we needed. We were able to cook as well as drive out to get fish and chips and meal at the wharf (recommend their roast).

Nothing! I suppose it's a bungalow that sleeps 4 but there's only space on the sofa for 2. One of us had to sit on the dining chair.

Very nice place

We visited for conferences at Salford University and the Quays. We were delighted to find this lovely independent cottage within walking distance for myself and colleagues. The cottage itself was spacious, clean, well-stocked, and tucked quietly out the hustle and bustle of the Quays. I had an exceptional night's sleep there.
