Yuanxiang Garden Boutique Inn - Ancient City Center 原乡文苑客栈

Great location, not far from the Ancient Town. The host is incredibly warm and thoughtful. Since the old town has stone paths, he helped us transport our luggage by tricycle, which was such a big help. Any requests we had were dealt with quickly. The cleanliness was impeccable, every spot was well kept. There is also Baocui Café on site with absolutely delicious coffee. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely our stay was in Lijiang. We would definitely choose Yuanxiang Garden Inn again if we come back to Yunnan, China. Highly recommended!

Perfect, quiet location near the south gate. Close to everything, but just on the outskirts so much quieter than other places. Staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Mr. Adrian was kind and always went the extra step when helping us plan activities for our visit.

The shower taps could be fixed because it was hard to gage the right temperature, so sometimes it was too hot and sometimes too cold. The bathroom floor was a bit slippery.

Very friendly staff who organised our taxi to the airport and were always available to help. Great location in old town - highly recommend!

Beds are a little hard, but that is normal for China

The property is a small gem in the center of Lijiang old town. Beside being really beautiful, it’s Close to the center but not too much so you can enjoy the nightlife but also the quiet of your hotel. And the people who manage the family house are amazing - really helpful and caring, they will treat you life a family member.
