Riad Zi

I had a great room with a little balcony overlooking the courtyard. Clean, quiet. Lovely staff. I can highly recommend this place that's right in the centre of Marrakech with easy access to all the major points of interest.

I had a very nice stay at Riad Zi, which offers an authentic, traditional Moroccan riad experience. The room was on the smaller side, but it was perfectly adequate and comfortable for my needs. Being in a central area, there was some noise from the surrounding rooftops and the regular call to prayer—which can definitely wake you up—but overall, it was completely acceptable and part of the traditional atmosphere. Breakfast was basic, though pleasant and enough to get the day started. What truly stood out was the staff: they were extremely helpful, polite, and always attentive throughout my stay. Recommended if you are looking for a genuine stay in a classic riad!

The closeness to the square and airport

I was locked in my room for the outside. The communication for the excursions were not clearly coordinated and I wasn’t able to take full advantage of the experience. The paperwork for customs was not complete nor accurate and I was not able to go customs and make a claim.
