Great facilities - we will come again!

Overall, we are very happy with our stay and will certainly come again. Excellent location. You can use it as a stop on your way to Italy or - like us - for a plentiful hiking possibilities in the Nufenen Pass area. Very welcoming hosts. The facilities are freshly renovated, very comfortable rooms, much better than usual offer in country hotels across Switzerland. The rooms are spacious - again, compared to "normal" across the country. We got a very quiet room, no noise whatsoever even with the window open. Excellent lighting in the room, I would guess the best one we ever met in Switzerland. Breakfast is unusually late (9.30) but the owners arranged for us a full breakfast at 8.30 at our request. Food in the restaurant was simple and tasty, of very good quality.

Menu is very limited and actually "menu" - a list of dishes with prices - does not exist. You need to ask the host for what is available today. Please note that the Osteria is closed Monday through Wednesday and on these days one needs to self check-in, and for breakfast/dinner to drive elsewhere (owners offer some partner places around 10 min drive)

Booking.com and the hotel manager must align on how to inform travelers clearly about the fact that the restaurant and breakfast are NOT available for most week days even in high season ! We traveled by foot and public transport and proposing to have eating facilities in Airolo wasn't a solution. Thankfully the neighbor and the hotel manager were helpful with solutions. This stay remained a stressful time for us.

Rustig gelegen, prachtige natuur, ...

Het ontbijt was te duur voor wat het was. We mochten in een privé appartement gaan eten maar er was, toen wij aankwamen geen tassen noch bestek beschikbaar. Moesten we eerst zelf nog afwassen. Ook was er niets van vlees. Enkel kaas en confituur..... Dit was niet het gevraagde bedrag waard

Fantastisk

Ejerne af stedet var utroligt værtslige, og gik utrolig meget op i at imødekomme vores ønsker. Man kunne få morgenmad samt middag når man ønskede, og de gav anbefalinger til oplevelser i området. De tjekkede hele tiden op på at alt var ok, og vi fik tilbudt at få vand med op på værelset ved ankomst. Alt i alt var værtskabet 10/10. Vi vil helt sikkert komme igen samt anbefale stedet til andre.

Très belle chambre mais ça n’est pas un hôtel, plutôt des appartements pas bien équipé.

l’emplacement et la qualité de la chambre

Nous pensions pouvoir dîner mais le restaurant est fermé le Dimanche soir ainsi que du Lundi au Mercredi. Je n’avais pas vu que le petit déjeuner n’était pas compris et nous n’en avons pas parlé a l’accueil, il n’y avait personne le matin et donc pas de petit déjeuner disponible. Il donc de plus dommage qu’il n’y ai pas de quoi faire du café ou du thé dans les chambres …
