We were there during the heatwave (40 degrees), welcomed by Jean-Marie. So the house with airco was very welcome to us. The hot tub also very nice. It is a clean house, with all the facilities as described on the site. It is a typical French house, in the way it is furnished inside, shutters on the outside. The watercooker needs to be replaced (too old, not clean).Its location, Montfort, is a great place to discover the Dordogne, with lots of possibilities for bathing in the river (by car, not in walking distance). Great sights are within 5-10 minuten drive.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was great – the house was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The living space was welcoming and relaxing, and it was perfect that the property was dog-friendly. We really enjoyed being within walking distance of a lovely nearby restaurant, with all main amenities just a short drive away. The jacuzzi was a fantastic bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Perfect Stay in a Charming Cottage!We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage in Monfort! The location was absolutely perfect – peaceful, picturesque, and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you could ask for.Communication with the host was a bit challenging at times due to the language barrier, but we managed to work through it and everything went smoothly in the end. Despite that minor hurdle, we truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing escape in the French countryside!

Lovely property. Has all that is required in a stay equipment wise. Hot tub wonderful. Position is good with a nice restaurant close by. For us however we would prefer a softer mattress for the bed. Quite uncomfortable unless you like a hard bed.
