1600square feet apartment totally independant in a stylish house in the fantastic village of MONTFORT . located in the middle of everytrhing to visit in the dordogne area...2 big bedrooms , 2 bathrooms and a terace of 80 square meters . the village has got 2 restaurants and a bakery . 6 km away from SARLAT. 10 min away from LA ROQUE GAGEAC, CASTELLENAUD , BEYNAC, DOMME ....
You will also find a beach on the dordogne river 1 km away with canoe rentals . the village is totally quiet and you will find free place to park your car just in front of the house...

Stayed for 12 nights in this beautiful property. 4 adults and 1 dog. Stephanie showed us how everything worked when we arrived and provided extra towels for our friends. This is a large property full of character but with all modern amenities. The outside terrace is fully enclosed so ideal for a dog. The village of Montfort has a bakery for morning bread, croissants and delicious pastries. We would highly recommend staying here and will be back.

The house is quite spacious , ideally located, quiet, and very organized .. The deck is nice and it has all that you need.

Lovely, historic building in a charming village at the foot of the castle, beautifully adapted for comfortable living inside and outdoors.

The location is very nice and the property is charming but misses some basics. We stayed over a month and were told there was no housekeeping eventhough the dailt rate is the same as for very short stays. The lights above the mirrors in the bathrooms are picture lights resulting in many shaving cuts. No closet space and no place to hang towels in the bathroom. The outdoor umbrellas were falling apart and the outdoor seating is not very comfy. The reviews raved about the owner’s friendliness but our reception was very cold.
