A very helpful host called Valerie, she really went out of her way to help with everything.
A comfortable apartment in a secure location, right next to the park,
5 minutes walk to the sea.
5 to the bus which takes you into the old port.
10 minute walk to the supermarket, through the park.
The heating worked well and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

Very good location (close to the sea and main boulevard-public transport, very safe and green residential area, quiet and clean neighborhood), extremely responsive and helpful host, fair amount of space, comfortable bed, functional heating, warm water, clean and tasteless tap water, well-equiped kitchen, could also work for a couple of days thanks to the desks and stable wifi connection. Good value for money!
Cleanliness could have been better, the apartment is maybe a bit more rundown than in the pictures (some power outlets need fixing/replacing, a lamp was not working at all), the sink in the bathroom is ridiculously small and impractical, and there are no options for groceries nearby (the closest one is aprox. 15 min. walking one way), but none of the points are a deal-breaker really.
