Window on the sea

Great location

Pretty sweet apartment. Very clean and modern. Awesome location right across from beach. for future guests, 2 things in listing are slightly deceiving... 1. There is not on-site parking in garage like the listing says. Parking is either street side which is very difficult in the very busy city area of the apartment. Or there is a public pay lot across the street. That lot was easy and where we parked overnight. 2. You are not right on the beach side of the road. The apartment is above a strip mall with a busy 4 lane rd between you and the beach. Not a big deal, but just to note because the pictures and pin in the map in the listing avoid showing you the road between. Perks, is you are directly above a couple restaurants at ground level of the building. 3. The picture in the listing with all the balcony’s is a totally different building and not this apartment. That picture is meant to show you a nearby statue, but it definitely made us think we had a balcony looking at the sea. You do not have that. There is a small balcony off 1 of the bedrooms that faces the back of the complex. The front side that faces the ocean is just the large “window to the sea” which is quite nice, but just don’t think that picture of all the balcony’s is where you’ll be staying. You’ll drive by that place on way. lolLastly, the AC is nice but only a wall unit that cools the main area of apartment: the bedrooms get quite warm in summer. Not a huge deal as any AC is nice to have in France.

We really enjoyed staying. Initial problems with wifi working when we first arrived but the host turned up to fix it. Beautiful apartment overlooking the sea and we had dinner every night while watching the sun set. The apartment is by a busy main road but at night it seemed reasonably quiet and especially if you close the windows. On Friday night there was a big party in the bar below the living room but luckily it did not go on all night. Also the bedrooms at the rear of the property were so quiet and peaceful and have a lovely balcony and so enjoyable to have your breakfast on it in the sunshine. You can only hear birds singing at the rear. The host was very kind and communicative and generously let us stay longer than our original check out time as we had a later flight home. I highly recommend this place especially if you want to be no more than a 5 minute walk to the beach.
