Far Below Acceptable Standards

I’m finding it difficult to find anything I liked about the property. If I have to mention something, it would be that it’s is rather quaint.

The apartment is situated very high up, and reaching it from the main street involves a steep climb over uneven, broken cobblestones — quite a challenge, especially with luggage. The stairs leading to the top floor feel more like climbing into a treehouse. Each step barely accommodates your feet, and it’s unsafe to carry bags while ascending. My friend had to pass mine up to me because trying to manage them on the stairs would have been dangerous. At the top, the landing area measures only about one square meter. Extreme caution is needed at night when heading to the bathroom; a misstep could easily result in a serious fall. This setup would not meet safety standards in the United Kingdom. The bathroom itself is extremely small — the waste bin fits only under your knees in front of the toilet, which shows how limited the space is. There was also no hot water in the morning, so neither of us could shower. Later, the water supply stopped completely, meaning we couldn’t flush the toilet. The host advised us there was a general water issue in the area. We had previously stayed elsewhere in the city in a much larger apartment that cost even less. Sadly, we couldn’t extend our stay there, which led us to book this one instead. Unfortunately, the experience here turned out to be quite a disappointment.

An enjoyable and relaxing stay...thank you...

The host was extremely helpful and informative giving us all necessary information in advance. The house, while compact, had everything we needed and has great character. The beds were very comfortable and we had a nice relaxed stay.

The hilly environment around the house and steep stairs were challenging for my mother who is quite old now...but we managed 😉

Cozy sweet house in walking distance of Tsarevets and the old town

It was in the old town,very close to the attractions and restaurants,but far from all the noise. Very cozy. My kids loved the house.

There was not such a thing that I didn’t like, even the walk up to the house,(because everything in Veliko Tarnovo is on the hills):)) was nice walk.

Very good option in Veliko Tarnovo

It is a little stiff to claim through narrow stone streets to arrive at the location, and then you can park somewhere close. The owner is very helpful and gave us a good indication. The house is old but renovated with all that you need. The bathroom is small, but one person will manage. Overall, it is a good ratio money/value.

Cozy city, cozy house

The host was very attentive and friendly, provided more than enough information to make my stay and time in the city better. The house is cozy, quiet and equipped with everything you would need for a couple of days away in Veliko Tarnovo, an amazing city that is well worth the visit.

Всичко беше хубаво.Къщата е малка, но е удобна.Доста неща са пипнати с детайли.Става за семейство с две деца.

Това е съвет към хазяйна,в никакъв случай не нещо лошо Хубаво е горе в по-голямата спалня да има още един телевизор.Пердетата са доста дълги и се настъпват.Мивката в банята е прекалено малка.

Ηταν όμορφο αν και μικρό. Είχε ωραία θέα .

Ολο το κατάλυμα μύριζε πολύ έντονα υγρασία , και το μπάνιο είχε επίσης υγρασία και έσταζε από το ταβάνι νερό. Το ταβάνι στον κάτω όροφο ήταν στραβό σαν να ήταν έτοιμο να πέσει . Επίσης δυσκολευτήκαμε πολύ να κλειδώσουμε την πόρτα , δε ξέρω τι έφταιγε για αυτό . Η διαμονη μας ήταν κάποιες ώρες ίσα ίσα για έναν ύπνο , οπότε οκ !!

Nezaboravan boravak u autentičnoj staroj kući, u starom gradu, a opet potpuno renoviranoj i opremljenoj modernim stvarima...fascinantno iskorišćen svaki milimetar prostora...kreveti izuzetno udobni, mnogo detalja, sitnica, stvari koje doprinose izuzetno pozitivnom utisku....

To što su nas Google mape dovele pogrešbo autom do litice, ali to nema veze sa smeštajem, a možda se i mi nismo najbolje snašli sa mapama...

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à Biscuit cosy mini house. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La situation du logement est parfaite pour un séjour à Veliko Tarnovo. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié pouvoir nous garer gratuitement. C'est un vrai plus! La ville est très belle. Yan a été très attentif à toutes nos demandes et très réactif. Nous recommandons ce logement très cosy, calme et proche de toutes les commodités.

Pudo ser y no fue

Es una casa típica del lugar. En la parte de arriba es más acogedora que abajo que se hace pequeña. La ubicación no está mal, aunque para volver al apartamento hay unas buenas cuestas.

La ducha huele muy mal. El baño es muy pequeño. Olía a humedad toda la casa. Mucho polvo e incluso telarañas. El dueño muy insistente para saber cuando me iba de la casa. Incluso llego a llamarme para saber.

Къщата е доста стара, много е тясно вътре. Чистотата просто липсва, не препоръчвам! Стълбището е много тясно, пода скърца навсякъде.

Общо взето всичко беше както трябва.Локацията е много добра,всичко по-интересно е много близко.

Единственото,което не ми хареса е възможностите за паркиране.Това важи за целия град.Не бях идвал във Велико Търново повече от 30 г.,градът е пълен с автомобили,а места за паркиране почти няма.Що се отнася до мястото на настаняване,въпреки,че собственика беше така добър да посочи къде може да се паркира наоколо-места няма.Особено голям проблем е ако сте с голям джип-предвижването по тесните улички е живо предизвикателство.Като изключим това всичко беше супер.
