Las entradas de las dos habitaciones están separadas. Puede ser genial tener privacidad para adultos pero si hay solo un nino joven, se va sentir alejado.

The location of the property is perfect - a few minutes walk from the main square, right at the foot of Brasov’s famous mountain. It is close to the cable car. The property is spacious, both bedrooms are huge, the bed sizes themselves are massive, super kings. The rooms are individual suites, both with their own bathrooms, the master room also has a good sized kitchen next to it, fully stocked with all necessary utensils, and a table with chairs. The master room leads out onto the patio with views of the mountain, table and chairs, and a sun umbrella. There is a good sized powerful fridge/freezer, and the hob in the kitchen works well. There isn’t air conditioning, so please do be aware of that. We stayed during a heatwave so it was a little hot during the day time but we were out exploring anyway, so it didn’t bother us, evenings it was cooler. Bedding was lovely: crisp, cool, white cotton, towels and toiletries also provided. The decor was very tasteful and traditional, too. Marian, the host, provided exceptional communication from the initial booking onwards. We felt in safe hands and she did everything possible to accommodate us - for instance, by letting us check in early when our train arrived, also offered us late check out, and on hand for any restaurant/other recommendations, really excellent host, likely one of the best we have had on here in terms of support and communication, thanks Marian! Check in was easy, with clear instructions sent a couple of days before - a lock box with code. It is set in a quiet area with no noise from neighbours, lovely little street. When you consider you are basically getting 2 x private suites for the price of 1 in central Brasov, plus your own private patio with views of the mountain, this really does offer exceptional value for money.

If I had to choose something, I would say that at the height of summer, maybe a fan would be good. We didn’t ask for one as we were out much of the time, and I’m sure if we had, Marian would have obliged us.

The apartment is amazing, and I truly appreciate host’s effort to make it as authentic as possible. The floor, the furniture, the details like typing machine, old heating stove, real watercolor paintings, books, etc make half of my experience of the trip to Brasov. The location is superb. Close to the old town central square, but quiet. Situated just near the entrance to the park path along the city wall under the Tâmpa mountain.

Before I found the thermostat the floor was very cold. Wished to have some slippers. The kettle and the fridge need some attention, but I am sure the host will fix it soon

The location is great and one of the two units was very clean and modernized. The host is very responsive.

Bathroom in smaller unit is horrible, small, and smells of mildew. The host indicated that there was an ‘air purifier’ we could turn on in the unit - it was a dehumidifier, and it did help somewhat. The bathroom floor (which is also the shower floor) did have dark spots which made it seem unclean to me, although the host assured me it was clean. I feel as though the sealant has come off that brick floor - See photos. Also, we expected the ‘private patio’ to be in between the units - it is not. The ‘balcony’ isn’t really a balcony - it’s an upper walkway.
