Cosy home in the heart of Old Brasov

Very nice, spacious, modern, and clean apartment in a perfect location in Braşov’s old town, making it easy to move around the city. I had a good stay overall, and the host was very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. Check-in/out were also smooth and flexible.

The main thing that needs to be improved is the bathroom/shower area. Because there is no shower door or barrier and the drain slope doesn’t work very well, water ends up spreading across much of the bathroom floor during showers. The host brought a mop after I mentioned it, which I appreciated, but it’s still something that should be fixed for future guests. There was also a small issue with the Chromecast disconnecting from the Wi-Fi repeatedly, although it wasn’t a major problem for me.

The apartment is just a 2-minute walk from the Black Church, with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. It has been beautifully renovated, with a particularly interesting refurbishment that preserves the charm of this 19th-century building. Access to the apartment was very easy thanks to the key box system, which made check-in seamless. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the internet connection worked perfectly. Overall, nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this place.

Leiligheten var veldig ren og fin. Sengene var svært gode og leiligheten fremstod nyoppusset med god stil, i et gammelt bygg. Håndklær og sengetøy var flott. Det var store fine vinduer. Kjøkkenet var velutstyrt med alt vi trengte. Leiligheten lå veldig sentralt til, gangavstand til butikker og koselige restauranter i gamlebyen, men det var allikevel rolig og stille. Det føltes trygt å bo der.

Fryseren var ubrukelig da den var full av is. Dusjen var skadet, så den ikke kunne henges opp. Verten ble informert om dette og lovet utbedre etter avreise. Uteområdet var også lite brukervennlig, da det var gjengrodd og ikke privat. Vi hadde utfordringer med å parkere, men det var heller ikke utleiers ansvar.

This lovely apartment is tucked away just a few minutes’ walk from Brașov’s main square, right in the heart of the old town. Head the other way, and you’re quickly out on the trails, perfect for morning walks or longer hikes in nature. The town itself is full of charm, with cozy restaurants, lively bars, and families enjoying the beautiful historic streets and architecture. The hosts were fantastic, great communication and super flexible with anything I needed. The apartment is newly renovated, with everything you could possibly need. It’s set behind an old wooden door, which gives it a traditional touch and also makes it feel very quiet and safe. Felt like a peaceful little hideaway in one of the most beautiful parts of Brașov.
