Really liked this apartment and may stay here again. It is less expensive than some apartments in the area, and also not as "new" feeling as some, but still quite pleasant, clean, and easy to spend time in. The kitchen was well stocked, including a cutting board, vegetable peeler, pots, pans, etc. The managers were super helpful, providing live advice and even a video to help me find the apartment when the taxi did not drop me off in the exact location. When I needed an iron, they brought it to me. Very friendly owners/managers. Close to the US embassy (a few minutes walk), plus several coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stories within a 3 minute walk from the front door. The AC in the bedroom worked well. There is a separate work desk so you don't have to share the dining table with your laptop. And there was just a general good feeling about the apartment that I can't put my finger on.

As is common in Tirana, there is a tiny smell from the plumbing in the bathroom which one might notice when first entering. This is easily resolved by opening the bathroom window and keeping the bathroom door closed. It's not a problem with the apartment, I think, but a common plumbing issue in Tirana. The only frying pans were the common but unhealthy "nonstick" - stainless steel or cast iron would be great. But this is a very common problem in short term rentals, both in Albania and elsewhere. There were only two clean towels in the bathroom and none in the kitchen, so I wound up using bathroom towels to dry my hands after washing dishes.

It was spacious and had everything I needed

Owners did not get my reservation from Booking.com so had to wait a little bit extra.
