Location was good, close to relatives. Lounge was comfortable and kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Main bedroom had plenty of storage, and bed was comfortable.
It was strange for us from New Zealand to have accommodation for 8 nights and not have our unit serviced or fresh towels provided during our stay. We had to provide our own toilet paper and rubbish bags. The washing machine was very small for holiday park and dryer was very inefficient. Costs were very high to get a load washed and dried. Should have located a local laundromat. Single beds were narrow and short, more suited to smaller children, couches worked as a good replacement.

Great and peaceful weekend break
Loved being on the water, clean and comfortable setting. Aircon was great, lovely and peaceful, great to sit and while away the hours enjoying the view.

Perfect stay in a tranquil setting.
Didn’t try the breakfast. The cabin was lovely, situated on the water . Coffee on the veranda accompanied by a swan and ducks. Cabin was perfect, hob, fridge, microwave and shower.

The van was really nice and the late check in was sorted really easily.
Not much not to like. Only thing was we only had 2 towels and we had booked for 3 people.

Nightmare stay
Very basic and dated. TV very small, non existent Wi-Fi. Nothing there for washing and drying dishes. Settee was well past it sell by date. Not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Up a very steep hill, receptionist said we were unable to drive up to the caravan to drop our cases off and the wheelchair virtually tipped over trying to get up and down the hill. We could have easily accessed the caravan on the back road but they had cordoned it off. I am elderly and retired and could not manage the cases. We paid virtually £170 for an extremely poor service, my partner was in tears and we nearly drove off and forfeited our fee.
