Lorenzo truly is as great a host as everyone mentions in the reviews. Even though we arrived late in the evening, he welcomed us personally at the house and had a warm, friendly conversation with us. We had informed him in advance about a few small things we needed for our baby, and he had prepared everything — and even more than we expected. He also left a few thoughtful little surprises for us. The cleanliness of the house was absolutely outstanding. The location of the house was also very convenient — Florence city center was only about 15–20 minutes away, and we were able to travel back and forth easily even with our baby stroller. We were able to park the car we rented in Italy very easily in the blue-lined parking areas close to Lorenzo’s house. Parking was not a problem at all in this area.

Due to the season, we also encountered some mosquitoes, but as long as we kept the doors carefully closed, it was not a problem at all.
